GreenWEEE International is an integrated treatment plant for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
It is the first integrated unit in Romania which offers WEEE treatment and recycling services following the European environment standards (in conformity with art. 6 of European directive no. 2002/96/EC).
The factory has a total area of 14,795 m², of which 6,100 m² is the production area, and has over 150 employees.

The state of the art technology ensures a reuse and recovery of materials bigger than 95% and also a correct treatment of hazardous substances, eliminating any danger of environment pollution.
Since 2009 GreenWEEE managed to conserve 600,000 to of CO2, only from proper recycling of Fridges, Monitors and TVs.

The time allowed for improvement should be short and in no way to be longer than the next audit done by WEEE Forum.
