Youth Day, Sat, Nov 10th—a fun, prayerful & unique

experience for youth from kindergaren through grade 6.

The festiveties being held at Holy Family Malara Hall.

“The Government Inspector” written by Nikolai Gogol & directed by Dr Monica Anderson will be

presented by The Franciscan University Theatre Department. It tells the story of a corrupt small

town run by a greedy mayor and his comrades. The town panics at the news that a government inspector is

on his way from the capital. Hilarity ensures when the townsfolk display their greed and stupidity by

confusing a low-level official with the real inspector. The Government Inspector, one of the most famous

comedies in world theatre, is a comical critique of the pitfalls of all-too-common vices.

Performances will be held Nov 9, 10, 16 & 17 at 7pm, and Nov 11 & 18 at 2pm in Anathan Theatre, on the

ground level of Egan Hall. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students and seniors. Admission is free for

clergy, religious and children under 12. Tickets may be reserved by calling 740-283-6245, Monday thru

Friday 8am to 4pm, or bought at the door on a first come, first served basis.
