TEST RESULTS

The forgiving cavity back and Feel Balancing Technology combine to produce exceptionally consistent results compared to both iron set-matching wedges and traditional blade wedges.

The robot test conducted used 50° wedges. The CBX wedge represented itself, while a top competitor wedge represented a typical Set Matching Wedge, and another top competitor wedge represented a Blade Wedge. Each club was hit in the same locations across the face (see face profile) with the same robot swing, and carry distance and dispersion were measured using a Trackman launch monitor.

The sole of the Cleveland CBX wedge is wider and more forgiving, allowing it to glide through the turf smoothly and efficiently while maintaining enough versatility to execute an array of shots.

FRONT-TO-BACK VThe leading edge features slightly more bounce to prevent digging, while the wide rear portion provides more stability and lift through the turf without the club “bouncing” off the turf.

HEEL-TO-TOE VThe wider toe improves square face and bunker shots. The heel section is narrowed to the width of a traditional wedge for better performance when opening the face.

This patent-pending technology shifts the center of gravity closer to the center of the wedge face – the impact zone – to decrease vibration and maximize head stability at impact. By adding a microcavity inside the hosel and shortening the hosel, nine grams of mass are optimally redistributed in the head for a more centered CG location. This improves feel and tightens shot dispersion, giving you maximum control.

NEW V SOLE GRINDSThree tour-proven grinds feature a V shape with more leading edge bounce to help get the club head through the turf faster at impact. This promotes crisper feel and more consistent head speed for increased spin and control. The V-LG is Cleveland’s narrowest low bounce sole for maximum versatility, the V-MG has mid bounce suitable for a wide range of players and turf conditions, and the V-FG is a forgiving full sole design with trailing edge relief.

New Tour Zip Grooves have a deeper, narrower U shape with a sharp edge radius in all lofts to enhance contact across a wide variety of conditions. Our ultra-lightweight hosel design is key to moving weight low and deep.

Typical hosel structures, along with the sleeves and screw, are relatively heavy, pulling the center-of-gravity to a poor location - high and forward.

By designing an ultra-lightweight hosel, the Launcher HB achieves a better center-of-gravity location to provide more forgiveness and a higher launch.

The new 2135 Satin Putters feature a model-specific optimized face milling for more forgiveness on mishits. Putts will have more consistent speed even when struck toward the heel or toe. This results in more holed putts and fewer putts missed short.

OPTIMIZED FACE MILLING

The new 2135 Satin Putters feature a Polymer TPU Insert to dampen vibrations and enhance feel. The polymer face insert and deeper face milling pattern create one of the softest feeling putters on the market.

SOFT POLYMER TPU INSERT

With 2135 Alignment Technology, the raised sightline allows golfers to achieve optimal alignment on every putt, regardless of where their eyes are at address. These putters also feature a higher contrasting white sightline over a black backdrop for better focus and easier alignment every time.
