Deposits and Billing ScheduleA 25% deposit is due at the time of contracting. Deposits are non-refundable and will confirm your space for your wedding with the contract. The final balance is due at least fourteen (14) business days prior to the event. The final payment must be paid by credit card, cash or cashier’s check. No personal checks will be accepted less than one (1) month prior to the wedding.

Valet ParkingEl Monte Sagrado provides valet parking and self parking. Space is limited. Although Valet Service is available 24 hours, parking is not guaranteed and is based on availability. Prevailing overnight parking charges will apply, currently $20.00 valet per vehicle per day, $15.00 self-park per vehicle per day. Day of event parking is $12.00 per vehicle per day for the duration of the event.

Entrée OptionsOur wedding packages allow you to give your guests a choice of entrée before your event takes place. The following guidelines apply:The couple can choose up to three (3) entrées, which includes one (1) vegetarian option. If there is a price difference in the three entrées, the higher priced menu will prevail.

Food and Beverage Guarantee A final guarantee of the number of guests is required by 5 p.m. fourteen (14) business days before your event. Once this number is confirmed, it may not be reduced. If the numbers increase from what was previously guaranteed, the additional entrées will be added to the final charges.

SuiteA complimentary Suite is included on the night of your wedding, based on availability. Check-in is at 4 p.m. Every effort will be made to allow early check-in, however cannot be guaranteed. Additional nights may be purchased for an additional fee.

Guest Room AccommodationsA courtesy wedding room block is offered to all guests based on hotel guest room availability. Please contact your Event Manager for more details.

Sacred Circle Encircled by mature willows and cottonwoods, El Monte Sagrado was built around The Sacred Circle — revered by Native Americans for hundreds of years.

Today, the Sacred Circle serves as a meditation spot, contemplative promenade, and a location in which to perform one of the most sacred of rites: your wedding ceremony. This stunning location can accommodate up to 250 guests and serves as the first step into what is sure to be an incredible future.

Rio Grande Ballroom This chic and versatile 2,400-sq. ft. room features imported hand-carved columns and doors, and stunning

Italian crystal chandeliers. Bookings for this space also include the outside terrace overlooking the Taos Mountain Lawn, grand foyer and the piano room.

The Rio Grande Ballroom accommodates up to 180 guests. Reception rental fees are waived with a minimum of $10,000++ in food and non-alcoholic beverages and a minimum of $1,000++ in bar sales.

Taos Mountain Lawn This perfectly manicured lawn with a stunning backdrop of the Sangre De Cristo mountains can be tented

for weddings up to 400.

The Sacred Circle This beautiful outdoor reception venue is set under soaring cottonwoods and among the breathtaking

The GalleryOverlooking the sacred circle, this beautiful space provides the setting for an intimate reception with

stunning views.

The Wine Room An exclusive space accented by a dome brick ceiling and marble flooring that is perfect for a private dinner

Event DetailsIt is necessary that we receive set requirements, menu and audiovisual selections and any other function details no later than (30) thirty days out from the event.

GuaranteesAttendance must be specified in writing at least (14) fourteen business days prior to event date. In the absence of a final guarantee, the agree number of guests specified on thesigned contract will apply.

Audio Visual Equipment With the exception of privately owned equipment, the group must rent all equipment through our in house AV department.

Food and BeverageNo food and beverage, including liquor may be removed from the hotel. All food and beverage must be provided by El Monte Sagrado with the exception of your wedding cake.

Menu TastingA complimentary tasting for up to 6 attendees is offered for weddings booked with guest lists of 40 or more. Tastings are scheduled Tuesday -Thursday between the hours of 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Please speak with your Event Manager for more details.

Outside VendorsOutside vendors must be licensed and shall maintain insurance coverage including product liability and contractual liability for bodily injury or property damage. Outside vendors are responsible for their personal property that they bring on to hotel premises. Decorations are strictly limited to the areas designated.
