Alatonero is the newest offering from hospitality professionals, Zac and Jacqui Poulier, founding proprietors of the multi award winning and highly acclaimed Stillwater at Crittenden Restaurant.

With so many stunning beach side ceremony locations within walking distance, your guests can simply wander from the beach to be greeted with cocktails and canapés as the sunsets over the bay.

WHY ALATONERO?

PACKAGE TIMES

Lunch events 11:00am-4:00pm Dinner events 6:00pm-11:00pmGuests are required to depart the property within 30 minutes of set package times or a room hire fee of $550 per hour (or part thereof) will be charged to the client. Ceremonies may be held on site no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your set package time. Should you require a separate quote for early access or extension of your package, please do not hesitate to ask.

MINIMUM NUMBERS AND EXCLUSIVE ALATONERO ACCESS

All menus and packages are based on a minimum number of guests for exclusive access to the venue. Should your guest numbers fall below the minimum, packages will need to be re-quoted.

Sunday to Thursday – by arrangement

Friday and Saturday exclusive access to venue – minimum 80 guests

(Public holidays will incur a 15% surcharge)

For non-exclusive access and numbers below the minimum, we offer exclusive use of either the bar and terrace or the dining room and garden (subject to availability)

MENUS

With mouth watering cuisine, Alatonero’s reception menus reflect our commitment to sourcing and using only top quality ingredients and the freshest of produce. All menus are offered as suggestions only and can be tailor made to suit your requirements, budget and style of event, whether it be a formal or a casual affair. Children’s menus and dietary specific menus can also be accommodated.

BEVERAGES

Beverage packages are based on 5-hour duration. Please see attached beverage packages. Extension of beverage package can be arranged, please discuss this with your function coordinator. BYO is not permitted.

GUEST ARRIVAL

Guest arrival to Alatonero is strictly no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your ceremony or package commencement. This is to ensure the smooth running of your event.

WINTER PACKAGES

During the months of May through August inclusive, we are happy to offer a 10% discount off the full price of your wedding package.

CEREMONIES

There are many secluded spots to choose from on the breathtaking McCrae Beach, whereby you can arrange a permit through the Mornington Peninsula Shire, or perhaps you may choose to have your ceremony on site in our garden or on the terrace. We will provide seating (up to 20 chairs), and registry table with 2 chairs for ceremonies held on site. Ceremonies are charged at $550 including GST. This charge includes staff to direct and assist during your ceremony.

DÉCOR

Alatonero is a contemporary light filled space with neutral, crisp white and blue tones, boasting a modern, coastal feel; perfect for weddings and special events.

Quality glassware, cutlery and tea light candles are included in your menu package. Our functions coordinators are more than happy to assist with further décor suggestions and/or quotations on further requirements for your wedding.

SMOKING

Smoking is not allowed within the reception venue; however, smokers can be accommodated on the adjoining outdoor terrace area, please make use of ashtrays provided.

ENTERTAINMENT

You may wish to hire a D.J. or band. We are happy to assist with recommendations and bookings. All entertainers must adhere to noise level restrictions and the advice of your Functions Manager. All music must cease at 11pm.

Band meals can be arranged and are charged at $35.00 per person. This includes a main course, soft drink and 1 glass of wine or beer with their meal.

TRADING TERMS

Tentative bookings will only be held for a maximum of 7 days. To confirm your event, a deposit of $1000 is required, and a reception agreement signed. Final payment, based on final guest numbers and charges quoted, is due in full 10 working days prior to your event.

A surcharge will apply to any wedding held on a public holiday. Please discuss rates with your event coordinator.

Deposits are strictly non-refundable. Deposits are held as a security bond until after your reception date and are refunded the following day.

DAMAGES

The customer will be liable for any damages incurred to Alatonero and/or property which are caused by the cust-omer, its guests or contractors.

THE NEXT STEP

Make an appointment to discuss your requirements and to secure a date for your wedding day. Once the deposit is received, we create a running sheet for the event, which is then signed off by both parties (when complete), ensuring that all your requirements are met for your special day. You are welcome to contact us for assistance with local suppliers, suggested timings, photographers and so on. We look forward to being able to assist you further with your wedding plans and welcome any queries that you may have.

All packages are inclusive of staffing, venue hire, on site preparation meetings with your function co-ordinator, menu consultation and wine tasting and of course the invaluable advice and support that Alatonero provides.

WEDDING CAKE

Alatonero holds a strict policy on wedding cakes bought into the building. We only accept cakes that are professionally prepared and delivered by licensed food retailers or a registered food business. Whilst the utmost care will be taken with your cake, Alatonero accepts no liability for cakes upon delivery.

WANDERING ENTRÉE’S AND/OR DESSERTS

A mouth-watering selection of canapés (3 hot and 3 cold) served to your guests as a replacement to the traditional sit down entrée. This option is great for those that want to make the most of the outdoor setting, or may require longer time for photographs and so on. It is also a great compromise for those that cannot choose between a sit down or cocktail style reception. There is no price alteration to swap your plated entrée to a traveling entrée. Dessert served roaming style to your guests as an alternative option to a plated dessert. Choose 4 items from our roaming dessert options and we will also serve your wedding cake cut into bite sized pieces. This option is great for cocktail parties and as an alternate to a sit down dessert.
