Located on the ground floor of the main house with access to the Terrace, the Ballroom has floor to ceiling Georgian windows which offer sweeping views of the Durham Coastline. A neutral colour scheme allows you to design your

wedding exactly as you wish, and this stunning room can seat up to 120 guests for a Ceremony and 100 guests for a Wedding Breakfast.

The CourtyardThe Courtyard is a gorgeous atrium style space with a vaulted glass ceiling, marble floors and a circular winding

staircase, perfect to make a memorable entrance on your wedding day. Surrounding the room are stunning double spiralled Amstel King trees adding to the natural and light atmosphere. The Courtyard can

seat up to 90 guests for your Civil Ceremony.

The TerraceWith 37 acres of beautiful grounds and evocative views of the Durham Coastline, the Terrace is an ideal atmosphere for your Drinks Reception. Between the formal landscaped gardens, idyllic lily ponds, and the wild woodlands, you’ll be spoiled for choice with your photographer. Take advantage of our stunning staircase leading up to the Hall by taking a

group photo or finish the night with fireworks.
