To celebrate your wedding at Spirit House is an experience for all five senses - sound, sight, taste, scent and feel. !The setting is magical, with a temple style main building and garden dining courtyards, surrounding a tranquil pond, all set in acres of lush tropical gardens dotted with Thai sculptures. !At sunset, the Spirit House turns into a flickering wonderland, with hundreds of lights, candles and bamboo flares reflected in the pond, music drifting across the water against a background of gurgling fountains and temple bells tinkling in the breeze. !!

The Spirit House gardens include a large Asian style courtyard ideal for the performance of wedding ceremonies, or as a venue for stand up, finger food style, functions. !White wedding flags and trimmings, a signing table with guest chairs, plus a P.A. system are provided in this area. !With an adjoining outdoor bar, canapes and pre-dinner drinks can be served here while the bridal couple can take advantage of the serene garden backdrop for their wedding photographs. !!

With its contemporary Asian cuisine, Spirit House is the perfect setting for wedding groups who enjoy the exotic taste of Asia. The banquet style menus have something for everyone, including vegetarians, with a selection of starters, salads, seafood and curries - with delicious desserts to finish. !All dishes are placed down the middle of each table for guests to share. !All menu items are subject to seasonal availability. If notified two weeks before the event, most food allergies can be catered for. !

Spirit House garden courtyards provide perfect settings for wedding parties with less than 40 guests. With three dining areas to choose from, these private areas, allowing seating options for 4 to 40 people, allow you to celebrate in style without having to book the entire restaurant. !The price for these smaller groups is $150 per person which covers: ! * Use of large Asian style courtyard for the wedding ceremony * White wedding flags/trimmings, signing table, P.A. system

If 40 or more guests are sharing your wedding celebrations, you will require exclusive use of Spirit House. Exclusive use minimum charge is $10,000 for up to 40 people and $100 per person for each additional guest. !With the entire restaurant and grounds at your disposal, you can also book a band, DJ or string quartet to perform in a designated area - ideal for dancing, speeches, guest mingling and cutting of the cake. !The menu focus is on an Asian ‘shared food experience’ and our chefs will create an Asian style banquet that will be remembered by your guests for all the right reasons. !Exclus ive Restaurant Use, Pr ices & Inclus ions :

DEPOSIT: $1000 payment to secure your date. This fee will be deducted from the final bill. The booking is not considered confirmed until this amount has been paid and a function agreement form has been completed and returned to Spirit House. !PAYMENT: Full payment is required 14 days before the function date. Beverages to be paid at the completion of the function. If preferred, beverage package can be paid prior to the day. NUMBERS: Final guest numbers are required two weeks prior to the event. Any food allergies/vegetarian/special meal requirements must be notified at that time. !LIABILITY: The client is liable for any damage sustained to Spirit House property. Spirit House does not accept any responsibility for damage or loss of guests property during the course of, or after, the function. !RSA: Spirit House staff have the right to refuse or suspend service of alcohol to any guest who they deem to be unduly intoxicated or disorderly. Guests under 18 years of age will not be served alcohol. Staff reserve the right to request ID of any guest who appears to be under 25 years of age. !EXTRA MEALS: Additional meals for band members etc can be arranged at a charge of $30 per meal. Please notify how many meals required at least 2 weeks prior to the function. !CHILDREN: Children’s menu and pricing to be discussed with our event co-ordinator. CANCEL: Two months notice required to receive full refund. 50% of total payment will be charged for cancellations made within 30 days notice or less of the function date. !!

A wedding is not a military operation of precision and timing - it’s about people coming together and having fun. So here’s how you can breathe some order into the whirlwind that is your wedding day. !

An Us h er : Have someone close to the bride and groom to meet and greet, guide guests to where they can leave presents. This person can represent you, while you’re off having photos taken, or busy mingling with guests. !

Ph o to g rap h er : Your photographer wants the best images of you on this day. Ask how long he will have you away from the guests and what time you’ll be back. !

Tim ing : Tell us when you want speeches and cutting of the cake. This allows us to control the flow of food and alcohol so as not to disturb these events. !

Mus i c : Put someone in charge of the music for your entrance and during the ceremony. If you have an iPod make sure it is fully charged. !

D i e tar y R e qu irem ents : Ensure your guests understand Spirit House only serves spicy Asian cuisine. Prepare a copy of your table plan indicating people with dietary requirements - this certainly helps our wait staff. !

R a in : Tell your guests to bring umbrellas - many people won’t be aware that there’s a walk through our gardens before they reach sheltered cover. A white marquee will be erected for your ceremony if necessary. !

Transp or t : At night, there can be long delays for taxis, so have your guests pre-book their transport back to hotels ahead of time. !

Ch i l d ren : We do recommend you arrange babysitters/entertainment for children so that you can relax and enjoy your day. Spirit House is not a play ground, nor our staff babysitters.
