Wedding Flower Guide
Organising your wedding flowers can be a daunting and confusing part of planning your wedding, so we
have put together a guide to arrangement types, floral varieties, bouquet styles and more to help make this the
most enjoyable part of your wedding journey!

Bridal BouquetsThe bridal bouquet helps to set the tone for your wedding style. It should compliment but not outshine your wedding dress, and
should tie in beautifully with your entire floral and styling theme.
Hand held bouquet which is classic, soft and rounded in design.
Garden style hand held bouquet which features a mix of florals and textures.
Hand held bouquet which is slightly unstructured in design with a mix of colours and textures.
Relaxed, whimsical style bouquet which is unstructured and features a unique mix of seasonal florals and foliages.
Georgia’s AdviceYour bridal bouquet should match and reflect your bridal gown. Full skirt gowns tend to suit rounded hand held bouquets, whereas straight line soft flowy gowns suit more relaxed, slightly unstructured bouquets. Tear drop and cascading bouquets tend to suit slim line, elegant gowns. Your venue and ceremony location can also influence the style and floral varieties in your bouquet; garden, rustic winery or relaxed coastal weddings.
ButtonholesThe Buttonhole flower ties your groom,
groomsmen and fathers in to your wedding ceremony.
For the bridal party, it connects them to their bridesmaids and for fathers and
grandfather it can provide a beautiful gesture of acknowledgement and inclusion in your important day.
Georgia’s AdviceInclude similar florals to your bridal bouquet in your buttonholes to create a beautiful sense of cohesion and belonging amongst the most important people in your wedding. It is a nice touch to make the groom’s buttonholes a bit different to the groomsmen, and making the father’s match the groom is always a heartfelt gesture. Grandparents also really love to feel involved in the day with buttonholes and corsages.

Hair Flowers & HalosWhether it is instead of or in additional to your bridal bouquet,
a gorgeous floral halo can add a sense of ‘boho’ to your style.
Flower Girls
Dress & Wrist Corsages
Younger girls tend to like a gorgeous floral halo or a basket with rose petals. Older flower girls (4 years and older) tend to love holding a posy to match either the bride or bridesmaids.
We tend to recommend a dress corsage for the mothers and wrist corsages for sisters. Grandmothers really love to receive a corsage as a surprise on the day!
Georgia’s AdviceFor those mothers who don’t wish to wear a corsage, we can also attached our corsages to their clutch purse for the day.
Aisle PosiesAisle posies look really sweet on timber chairs and pews . They also help to create a defined and romantic aisle for the bride and her bridesmaids.
Tears will well in the eyes of your loved ones.Be it the warm timber of church pews or white seats
nestled in the sand, your wedding ceremony is a time of love, of hope and of beauty.

Georgia’s AdviceCheck with your ceremony venue if they allow petals, quite a few wineries don’t! Petals cones are a really lovely way of involving your guests in your ceremony. Nothing beats that photo of the bride and groom walking down the aisle together sprinkled with petals!!!
Georgia’s AdviceA little vase of florals on your signing table will take it from being plan to being a beautiful setting that fits in with your complete style - a lot of photos will be taken sitting at this table!

Georgia’s AdviceMake sure the vase is tall enough for your guests to be able to see and speak to each other. The same principle applies to small arrangements; make sure you can see over them!
