HELPFUL HINTSAll guests staying in Cressbrook Hall accommodation must be made aware of arrival times (11.00am – 1.00pm) and leave by 10.00am on the day of departure. DUTIES – USHERS To direct guests on arrival and assist guests and staff as required during the course of the celebration. DUTIES – BEST MANTo ensure the well-being of the Groom and assist as required.To act as ‘contact’ for staff and guests and assist with any queries.
To ensure running order and timings are adhered to and to instruct guests as required. For example:To seat guests fifteen minutes before ceremony and ten minutes before wedding breakfast.To notify staff ten minutes prior to speeches to allow staff to prepare the toasts. DUTIES – CHIEF BRIDESMAIDTo assist the Bride with pre-ceremony preparations on the day and ensure timings are adhered to.To over-see the welfare of the other bridesmaids, particularly young children.To liaise between staff and the Bride during preparation period.
