PERFECT DAY…

Built as a coaching inn during the early 1800s, the Imperial

Crown has now been transformed into a modern hotel

without losing any of its traditional character and features,

providing a warm welcome for you and your guests. We have

excellent facilities and staff who are dedicated to making

your big day as special as possible. At the Imperial Crown,

we specialise in hosting wedding celebrations and offer our

dedicated wedding co-ordinator to help you plan and meet

your individual needs. We offer excellent function rooms and

accommodation for guests who wish to stay overnight.

PERFECT LOCATION...

Looking for an alternative venue than that of the register office

or church wedding? The Imperial Crown Hotel holds a civil

wedding licence and you may find it more convenient and

relaxing to hold both your marriage ceremony and reception

under one roof. You will need to contact the Calderdale

Registry Office in Halifax on 01422 353993 for details of their

fees and special arrangements relating to civil marriages.

Please always contact the hotel to check availability of our

licensed ceremony room before doing so.

CIVIL WEDDING AND CIVIL PARTNERSHIP CEREMONIES...

Whether it’s an intimate wedding for a small group of friends

and family, or a large celebration, we guarantee you a day

to remember. The Edwardian Archives Suite, situated on the

ground floor, is a spacious air-conditioned room decorated in

Edwardian Style with private bar and toilet facilities.

This Suite can also be divided into two for smaller gatherings.

To complete the look of the room for the taking place of your

ceremony, we lay the red carpet for your grand entrance.

Situated just outside of the Edwardian Archives, we have a

beautifully small and intimate attended garden for photo

opportunities giving you the chance to enjoy your special day

in one location.

THE WEDDING

A wedding breakfast is important for family, relatives and

friends and gives them all a time to sit and relax and talk with

each other. Menus Selectors are enclosed for your use, and

have been specially created by our Head Chef to assist in

tailoring your own unique package. Should you wish to make

alternative suggestions for your menu, our team will be happy

to provide alternative costs for the requested dishes.

THE WEDDING BREAKFAST

The Hotel disco and DJ can be arranged for you at a cost,

but if you wish to supply your own disco or entertainment

the Hotel must receive the PAT test certificates for all

electrical equipment & public liability insurance certificate

one month prior to the celebration. Please note that the

maximum capacity for the room will depend on the type of

entertainment required – we would be happy to discuss this

further with you. When it comes to choosing your evening

food, we have a selection of buffets for you to choose from,

from a traditional finger buffet.
