WHY A WEBSTORE?
When:
• May 17th, 2013 after week 1 of sales meetings
• A mass email will be sent to all sales with process shortly (after week 3)
Where:
• Sales Portal, Web Store tab
Why:
• Assortment will be accessible to all sales representatives
• 24/7 availability making it easier and quicker + visual of products
• Certificates are assigned only to Sales Director’s
• Sales Agents have a basic selection of items to choose from
• FY15 items can be added and/or removed based solely on budget
• No cross border shipping challenges from the USA to Canada

HOW IT WORKS SUMMARY
• If you’ve ever done any online shopping before, this is no different
• Web based – you need internet access to use it
• Allocated budgets managed by “certificates” by region, held by:
• Dale Bartelson, Brad Foster, James Preacher, Kurt Eichelman, Dave Allendorf
• Sales agents “shop” and save your cart but do not check out
• You will send your Director an email for final approval/processing
• Sales agents default billing address is Red Wing for USA Reps and
Mississauga for Canada; ship to address should be your office or another
alternative address can be entered at the end of your shopping experience
• Order detail can be easily reviewed and revised before you submit
• Click on “Order History” to view your past purchases (while you’re logged in)
• All pricing listed is “best pricing” and what it will cost if purchased privately by
any employee
• 10 day lead time for all non-inventory items (special sizes)
• Items provided as Holiday or employee gifts will not be part of the regular

HOW IT WORKS SUMMARY
• Not all items are available at launch – placeholders for “coming soon”
• Some items are “while supplies last” short term discounted deals
• All types of shipping are zero charge to you when using the code “shipit”
• Plan ahead enough to allow shipping transit time for ground service
• Real time stock availability and pricing during online shopping will be displayed
• Invoices will be sent directly to managing regions accounts payable for
processing (currently USA & Canada)
• All requests for merchandise should be handled via the webstore
• All merchandise is stocked and shipped by MCC in Winona, MN
• Training Centers, tradeshows and special projects are excluded from the
certificate program and handled separately
• Once stock is completely used in Red Wing it will not be replenished
• Evaluated by MCC and Capital Safety quarterly for optimum usage

CO-OP
• Distributors/End Users do not have access to the webstore
• Co-op purchases of apparel and promotional items are included in the co-op
budget - not the webstore budget
• To view available items, visit the sales portal, tab “Web Store”
• Log In like you would normally to the sales portal, click on the tab
• FY15 is potentially when to open up to Distribution for use with co-op funds

REGISTRATION
Step 1
• You will need to register and create your profile during your first log in
session
• First Name, Last Name
• Email address
• Password (use any password you want, we’re not tracking them)
• Confirm Password
• *Accept Terms & Conditions
• Click the “Submit” button
• Once registered, click “sign in” for access

Step 1 (continued)
• Everyone must set up their profile, located under “My Account”, then
click on “Address Book”. “Profile”, “Account Details” is where you can
also change your password.
• Note to USA Sales Reps:
In your profile you must reflect this address as the bill to: Capital Safety, 3833
SALA Way, Red Wing, MN 55066, then make your home/office location a new
ship to address. Check the appropriate billing or shipping check box for each
address.
• Note to Canada Sales Reps:
In your profile you must reflect this address as the bill to: Capital Safety, 260
Export Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5S 1Y9, then make your home/office location
a new ship to address. Check the appropriate billing or shipping check box for
each address.

APPROVE ORDER
Step 2
• Sales representative signs into the webstore and selects items
• Order is saved in your shopping cart (do not check out)
• Sales representative emails their Director their user name and
password information to log in and approve their shopping cart
• Director logs in as sales representative to review/change/approve and
process order from shopping cart

PAYMENT
Step 3
• Once order is approved and email confirmation will be sent to the
requestor’s email address
• If you are purchasing and paying for an item with your personal (not
corporate) credit card you can check out using PayPal
• These items are NOT to be expensed as it will be above and beyond
budget
• To receive zero shipping costs enter in the discount code “shipit”

• Feedback on how you feel the webstore is working for you to Shelley
Don'ts
• Ship items direct to tradeshow locations (home/office/hotel-ok)
• Don’t contact Marketing (Shelley) or Customer Service to place orders
going forward for the items on the Web Store
• Prepare well in advance for upcoming events you may need these
items for
• Do not over order, no returns to MCC allowed
