Department of Orthodontics, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Dental Sciences, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU) is proud to announce the sixth chapter of Ramachandra Orthodontic Accelerated Review (ROAR 2021) after its roaring success in the previous years.

This is a program specially designed to be a rapid review on topics of academic and clinical interest to Orthodontic postgraduates. This is intended to be a 'Finishing School' experience for the exam going postgraduates and an eye opener for the postgraduates in the earlier part of the course.

ROAR 2021 - Online Competition (Guidelines) ROUND 1: Time: 3.50 PM, Day 1Ÿ This round is open to all SLM members of IOS who have registered for ROAR 2021.Ÿ Please form a team of maximum three members. Ÿ Any number of teams from a college are permitted, but pre registration is mandatory. Ÿ Deadline for registration: 5th April 16. 00 PM*Ÿ This round will comprise of multiple choice questions and will be answered through a google form.Ÿ Top 10 teams will be selected for round 2.

ROUND 2: Time: 8.30 – 9.30 AM, Day 2Ÿ Open to the top 10 teams selected in round 1.Ÿ This round will be interactive with a quiz master asking the questions. Ÿ Top four teams will be selected for round 3. Ÿ The records for the long case to be presented in round 3 will be emailed to the selected teams at the end of day 2.

ROUND 3: Time: 1.30 – 3.30, Day 3Ÿ This round will involve each team presenting and discussing one long case Ÿ The teams will be graded based upon their performance in the diagnosis and treatment planning of the case by the

moderators of the session.Ÿ The diagnostic component will have to be presented for 7 ½ minutes and treatment planning for 7 ½ minutes,

followed by 15 minutes of deliberations with the moderators.Ÿ A basic powerpoint template will be provided, modifications to it are permissible.

* Forms without SLM numbers/ incorrect SLM numbers will be disqualified.Ÿ Quiz masters decision is final.
