Webinar Advanced Tutorial This is the transcript of an advanced webinar done with Greg Jacobs. Unfortunately we don't have a good quality video recording of the webinar but this transcript should suffice :) Everyone that is reading this tutorial will already be a user of SENuke. This tutorial will show you advanced SENuke training. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover. In the previous webinar we covered the basics. You have a website and you have a keyword. Then you can start using SENuke. The other webinar also included some basic keyword research. If you don’t already have a website, or don’t know how to make money from a website then SENukeX probably won’t help you. In this tutorial we will not be using the wizard. While the wizard makes everything easy for newbies, doing the tasks manually is much more advanced. There are more advanced options that are only available when you are setting up projects manually. New Campaign We’re going to start creating a new campaign. For simplicity all the other campaigns in the software have been removed so that it will be simple to explain how to set up a new campaign from scratch. To create a new campaign manually click on the New Button. This will display a popup menu which can be used to select different types of items to create. Webinar Advanced TutorialThis is the transcript of an advanced webinar done with Greg Jacobs. Unfortunately we don't have a good quality video recording of the webinar but this transcript should suffice :)

Everyone that is reading this tutorial will already be a user of SENuke.

New CampaignWe’re going to start creating a new campaign. For simplicity all the other campaigns in the software have been removed so that it will be simple to explain how to set up a new campaign from scratch.

To create a new campaign manually click on the New Button. This will display a popup menu which can be used to select different types of items to create. As there are no campaigns created already all the other options will be greyed out and unavailable.

When you click the New button a window will pop up asking you to name the campaign.

Page 2: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

The campaign is a very useful way of organizing all of your projects. It’s useful to give the campaign a memorable name which makes it easy to find.

If you already have other campaigns then it is possible to create a sub-campaign. In this case there are no other campaigns, so this option is not visible. The campaign will contain all of the projects, profiles and URLs.

For anyone who is new to SENuke X, a project is basically the different modules that SE Nuke has such as Account Creation, and Social Networking. All of these do different tasks.

The profiles are a set of user names and passwords for a certain project. You need to link a project to a profile, and once you create that link then it’s possible for the module to use that information to submit.

The account creation module will output to a profile. This stores the usernames and passwords which can then be used to submit to the different sites. The rest of the projects will take a list of accounts from a profile to log in.

URLs Tab

Every time a submission completes in SENuke, the URLs will be outputted to a URL list. Once the URL list has been outputted from one project, it can then be used as an input by another project. You can use the URL list outputted from one project in another project. It’s possible to link to certain pages using these lists.

This is pretty neat, it allows you to chain everything together. Every project you ran before can have links to the previous project.Account CreationThe first thing that most people will need to do is use the account creation tab. If you don’t already have a niche then it is possible to use the niche research tool. This is covered in more detail in the previous webinar and other tutorials.

To create an account creation project simply click New, Account Creation.

Page 3: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

You will notice that as you have already created a campaign, all of the other options will be available.

It’s then possible to rename the project so that you can remember exactly what is inside. Then double click on the project name and this will display the account creation project options. You can maximize the window if you prefer so you can see exactly what you are doing.

Page 4: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

This will display the window below:

Now you need to fill in the fields which should be pretty self explanatory. The easiest way of using this project is to click “Generate Random Profile” This will generate a random user profile used to create the accounts on various sites.

You will then need to create the email address. To do this click the “Create Email address” button and a popup menu will appear.

Lots of people on the forums seem to complain that sometimes a particular email provider is not

Page 5: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

working. That’s why there is a list of four different providers to choose from. If you can’t get one to work, then simply try another one. Usually the “Download Pre-Created Hotmail Account” will always work. This is because the software will retrieve a hotmail account from our servers which has already been created.

There are two options that you can configure here. If you select the download pre-created account then it will place the email into the field on the form. You will need to set the email address up so that nothing goes into the spam folder. This will ensure that any registration emails you get sent will be received. Sometimes the links accidentally go into the spam folder, and if this happens then SENuke cannot click the links, which means it will also be unable to submit to these sites.

To set up the spam filters what you need to do is click on the options button.

Then click on the email tab at the top of the options window.

Make sure that the option “Prevent emails from going into spam”. This option should be selected by default, but if you are having problems with submission then you can check that this rule is set up. When you create the email account it will automatically set up the rules so that nothing gets put into the spam folder.

There are limits placed on the pre-created email accounts. Currently it’s at 15 email accounts, per user, per day. However, this may increase or decrease at a later date. Other types of email accounts have no limits and if you wan to use one of these instead then just select the option from the create email address button.

Hotmail accounts can be created if you prefer, and it’s also possible to create Yahoo accounts. There is also an option to create AOL email accounts. However, it’s unlikely that the AOL option will

Page 6: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

work because they are so strict with who they allow to sign up. Depending on your IP address, you may be able to sign up for an account.

Once you have an email account set up, the next thing you want to do before starting account creation is to create a profile. The account creation project will output all of the user names and passwords into a profile. If you don’t already have a profile that you want to add to then click the + button at the top of the account creation window.

This will popup a window which has already got the name of the random profile which has been generated. Simply click Save Profile.

After doing this all of the user names and passwords will be saved in the profile so that they can be used by other projects later on.

Next you will need to choose the sites that you want to create accounts for. This really depends on which modules you are using. If you were using the wizard then this will automatically detect the modules you have dragged and dropped and select the right sites automatically.

If you are doing it manually then you can either choose the sites individually, or if you prefer then you can click the “select all sites” option. There are many improvements coming to this section soon, including many extra websites.

There is a small difference between the Forum profile project and the web2.0 profile project. The

Page 7: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

Web 2.0 profile project will build links to web 2.0 sites, like for example if you set up an account with YouTube then you are allowed to set up a link to your site. The list of websites submitted to is different for each project.

The forum profile module is going to build links to only sites which fall into five different forum categories. If you create a new forum profile project then you can select the type of site that you want to choose. There are tools like scrapebox which allow you to scrape various forum URLs that you can add into the software. We’re going to look at adding a scraper into the software itself somewhere down the line.

That was a slight detour, so you have the Web 2.0 profiles. You won’t be creating the forum accounts from this project; instead you will be going to new Forum profile Account Creation.

Ok, so once you have all of this set up your accounts are automatically activated after 2 minutes by changing the option on the account creation module.

5 minutes is a good number. Some people might change this to 0 minutes, and this will run email verification immediately after creating all the accounts. But if you do this, some of the emails won’t have received in your inbox by then. It’s a good idea to wait five minutes before doing this so that they are all there.

So we can either click start, to start the project straight away, or we can schedule it.

Ok, so starting it is fairly straightforward. For now we’re going to have a quick look at how to schedule it. Click the schedule button, then select Schedule project from the drop-down menu.

This will make the schedule window popup, this can be seen below:

Page 8: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

There are a few settings here. The start date is when you want the schedule to begin. And it’s also possible to start the schedule after a certain project. You don’t need to schedule the other project for this setting to work. This means that the scheduled project will run after the unscheduled project has finished.

You can choose it to run when a project has completed, or has completed for the day. This allows you to use chaining. This is very useful if the project is supposed to be run over a 7 day period. This means that every time the project finishes for the day, it will run this chained project.

The options to spread submission over a few days will make the behaviour look much more natural to Google.

If you are running the project multiple times, then you will need to be careful with your settings. You don’t want the same links to be created. You will need to limit social bookmarking projects to URLs which were created within the last 24 hours, we’ll look at this option in more detail a little later on.

When using account creation, few people will actually spread it over days. However, this is useful for submission projects.

For now we will leave the schedule. If we click Start, then it will start the submission. Then you will need to wait while all your accounts are created. However, you should ideally create a complete campaign before starting anything. Then you can schedule the other projects to begin one after the other.

This will allow SENuke to handle when the different projects start and finish.Social Networking ProjectOk, next, let’s start a new social networking project. To do this, click the new button and select Social Network. Then you can rename the project to make it easier to find. As you have already created a profile in the account creation project, you will need to select that profile in the social network project. You can get a much more natural result by creating a few different profiles and selecting all of these in SENukeX. This will use different account details to create content.

The Social Networking project window can be seen below:

Page 9: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

All of the URLs generated and RSS feeds generated will be outputted into the relevant lists. These can be renamed to make them easier to find. To create URL and RSS lists click the small + button at the side of the drop down combo boxes.

Now you will need to create some content. Hopefully, most people will already know what spinning is. What you can do is type a keyword into the keyword box which is related to your topic. Then click on Download Seed Article from e-zine articles.

This will automatically download the article from e-zine which will appear in the content box. Then use the “Auto-Generate Spinner Variations” button to automatically create spun content. This uses TheBestSpinner to spin the content, for this to work you will need to register and use TheBestSpinner.

SENukeX will not only grab the article, but it will also copy the tags and put these into the relevant fields into SENukeX. This will also download the title of the article.

Even when you spin the article, it may or may not spin the title. You must make sure the title is well spun. It’s much better to rewrite the title yourself by hand, rather than relying on automatic spins for this. This is because pages with the same title and similar content will often be treated worse by Google.

Detour: Using the wizardWhen you use the wizard and it asks you to enter a title you should make sure that this is spun very well. Try to make it completely different to the original title as it will greatly improve the chances of you succeeding.

What most people will do is fill in all the basic information and leave a basic title which isn’t well spun. However, by not spinning the title you can reduce the index rate. You should go into the module specific settings tab and use the auto spinning function to spin the title, and then you can copy and paste it back in if you prefer.

Page 10: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

Ok, now you have a well spun title. The subdomain field is also important. Every time it posts to a social networking site it will post to a specific subdomain. So what you can do is click Create subdomain and SENuke is going to take this keyword and add a bunch of random numbers to the end. However, if you use this then it will create a footprint that is similar to any other user of SENuke. That’s why it would be better to type your own subdomain whenever possible.

You can specify certain options automatically, including the format of the subdomains if you prefer. The best way of doing this is to create a new campaign, call this templates for example and make it a root campaign. In the templates campaign, any project you create you can configure it to your liking. Then close it. Then you can easily copy and paste this into any new campaign without needing to set everything up manually by hand. This allows you to easily copy settings, features and the sites which are selected. It’s also possible to copy the entire wizard if you wish, however when copying wizards you will need to change the campaign name.

Ok, so that was the templates sub-feature. This is something that many people might find useful in some situations.

Now we have all the social network sites selected. If you right click in the content box, you will see a list of placeholders that you can add. We have covered these in much more detail in previous tutorials.

Now select the category.

The easiest way of doing this is to select “Auto-select categories”. This is very similar to the way that it works in the wizard. You will see the window below:

Page 11: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

You can create a list of keywords that relate to your content. Once you have done this, click select categories. The software will then search the entire category list to try and match these keywords. The order of importance will be decided depending on the order of the keywords. This means that Keyword 1 is the most important keyword. Then the software will automatically select the categories.

You can also load articles from another directory. And then you can preview sample articles to look at what thy will actually look like. Now you will be able to start or schedule the project. The schedule option is exactly the same as every project.

There is also a re-post to same domain option. Each blog will have just one post inside. This normally works just as well as multi-post blogs. SENukeX does support re-posting to previously created blogs however. What you need to do is select the “Re-post to same domain” check box. This will display a window which can be seen below.

Page 12: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

Now, if you submitted to the social networking project using a series of different profiles, then reposting will become very difficult. You won’t be able to repost from a different username. If you’re interested in using the repost to same domain option then you will need to stick to using one profile at a time to make this possible.

Once you have the initial submission you can then choose the account profile you want to use to repost. Then you will need to enter the subdomains for each site here manually, or load them from a URL list which is a much easier option. This will extract the subdomain from the URL list and try to resubmit in the same way.

One other option that is worth mentioning. You will notice that there are not as many websites in the repost window as in the main window. The main reason for this is because not every site will allow you to resubmit content. But, that’s only the case for a few sites.

For most of the websites though, the reason they are nto showing is because there is no need to specify the subdomain you want to post to. This is because the site will only allow one subdomain per account. Then press start and it will repost instead of creating new blogs.

The shorten article feature is very useful to reduce the chances of you getting caught with duplicate content. The software will automatically select random sentences from the article to reduce similarities. This is useful if you have a very long article which can be split into a number of smaller ones.

This won’t just spin articles, but it will also completely ignore certain sentences.

That’s about it for the social networking module. This is probably one of the best loved features of SENukeX. This saves a lot of time because it can be very time consuming to do manually. These sites are also very popular with Google. The social networking sites themselves will normally rank high up the google results.Article DirectoryOk, next we’re going to look at the article directory and press release projects. Both of these are very similar, so they won’t need much time spent talking about them. The only real difference is the author name and author bio fields.

Page 13: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

As we mentioned earlier, in social networking submissions you can add any links in the article body. This is because most of the social networking sites are un-moderated, and as they are blogs they permit links. However, for article directory and press releases you will need to keep all links in the author bio section.

Any placeholders that you can add in the body can also be added into the author bio field by copying and pasting. The right click option does not currently appear in here, but they can be copied easily.

Other than that, all the other options are virtually the same. Almost every site in this project has a category which makes the auto-select category very useful. There is also no subdomain option because these sites do not have subdomains; they just need a title and tags.Press Release ProjectThe press release project is very similar; the only difference is that there is a company name and homepage field to fill in. The homepage, you don’t want to put any HTML code in here, just put the URL itself. The rest of the options should be fairly self-explanatory.

Page 14: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

There is a certain procedure that you need to follow when submitting to press release websites. Don’t’ submit the same content you submit to article directories, the content will need to be formatted specially for press releases.

If you do submit articles, many sites will accept them. However, submitting properly formatted press releases will be more successful for most people.

Ok, the rest of the options are almost all the same, so that covers the Press Release Project.Video ProjectNext, we have the video project. This one is fairly simple. Select a video file, video tags and video description. Currently, if you spin the video title and the video description, what SENuke actually does is it uses a video sharing service to distribute all the various videos. So if you do spin the title and the description, only one copy of the title will description will be distributed to all the video sites.

Page 15: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

When you click start it will start uploading the video to the SENuke server from where it is submitted to the individual video sharing websites. This makes it very easy to share even large videos.

Once the sever actually distributes the video, the video ID will have URLs associated with it. By waiting until the video is distributed SENuke will then automatically load all the URLs. Some video sharing sites require moderation, so some of the URLs wont be available for a week or two. At the moment SENuke is not capable of collecting these URLs after a week. Don’t worry too much about the sites which feature the moderation, it just won’t be included in the URL lists.

When you select a project profile, some sites are going to show in grey, and some in black. The sites displayed in grey means that it does not have an account and sites in black have accounts. If the software does not have accounts then it will display a message informing you to create accounts.

Social BookmarkingOk, next we will look at social bookmarking. This can be accessed by clicking New, Social Bookmarking. This will display the social bookmarking window which can be seen below:

Page 16: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

For this project, most people will be familiar with what social bookmarking is. Popular social bookmarking sites include Digg.com and Propeller.com. These types of sites allow you to share websites that you find interesting with other people in the community. This is a very useful way of improving the popularity of your site.

So you should enter an input URL list. If you are linking it to a social networking project then you should link to the URL list outputted by the social networking project. Then, if you are scheduling this to complete each day after the social networking project then you will need to set it to only use URLs generated that day, this will reduce the chances of the same URLs being used over and over again.

Or if you don’t want it to read from a URL list then you can enter the URLs manually one per line. Then enter the tags and description. One thing that you will need to bear in mind is that tags are not spinnable, don’t try to spin the tags because that will cause problems.

You can choose to bookmark however many random links to each website. It’s possible to spread the submission using the schedule option to spread out the sites over a period of time, however you cannot use this option if you set the project to start after another project has been completed.

New features will be added to allow you to spread submission even when you are chaining the projects together. However, it is not currently supported.

The rest of the features should be pretty self explanatory.RSS ProjectThe RSS Project is very similar to the Social Bookmarking project. Instead of building links to HTTP URLs, it will build links to RSS URLs.

Page 17: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

Almost all the other options are almost exactly the same. Most people don’t understand what submitting an RSS feed does. What it actually does is that a bunch of these websites will take the feed you submitted and host it on their own website. An RSS feed is basically a copy of all the content on a certain site.

So if you submit the RSS feed to all these sites, you will have the same content submitted to many other sites including all of your links. This is a very neat function because it will improve the number of copies of your content available.

The rest of the options are fairly self-explanatory.

Page 18: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

Web 2.0 Profile ProjectThis can be opened by clicking New, Web 2.0 Profile Project.

Just a few tips, anytime there is anything critical that you need to know, the software will inform you with a note. The about me section for example should not include any HTML, placing your own links in there using HTML is not a good idea because you do not know whether the different sites use HTML or BB code for the links.

To add links, use the add links option, and then you can draw the links from the URL list. The anchor text which is used by the link will be decided by the anchor text in the URL list. If the anchor text is blank then it will use the default anchor text. You can manually adjust the anchor text by right clicking the URLs and then clicking Edit Anchor.

This is very useful to know when you are setting everything up manually instead of using the wizard. It may also use the title as the anchor text if the default anchor text is left as blank. This gives you a lot of control over the anchor texts for your links. You can also spin the anchor text if you wish.

In the URL List editor If you select the option to allow duplicate URLs then you will be able to remove any duplicated URLs. You can also batch add the URLs from a CSV file.

The rest of the options are fairly self-explanatory. Add #lasturl# is an interesting option. This will try to create a link wheel. It will try to link all of the sites together to improve the ranking of your site. If you are using multithreading then you do not know which site will be submitted to first. In my opinion though link wheels are overrated. They don't work that well anymore. It's a fairly simplistic link structure that Google seems to have caught on to now.

Page 19: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

Pinger ProjectThe pinger project is very simple. You can pick URLs from any URL list you want to use. You can then enter the list of websites that you want it to ping, or it can read from the URL list. It’s pretty simple.

The ping feature doesn’t work too well anymore but the option remains if needed. To get links indexed it’s better to use the indexer module.

Page 20: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

Indexer ModuleThe indexer module will submit the URLs you choose to our proprietary network of blogs. Each link will be posted around five times, although this might be more depending on the demand of the service. This will make the indexing very reliable because Google is continually crawling the blogs. This does take a few days to work because Google will need to crawl through the sites slowly.

Every time you click start it will send these URLs into a queue. The server will then submit these at night. It won’t be published onto the blogs straight away. There is a daily indexing limit of 50 URLs, so they will be queued before they can be submitted to the blogs. This is designed to prevent people from hogging the service.

We are currently planning to launch a premium service for the indexer service. This will allow you to submit more links at a time. You can click the Check Queued URLs button to check the URLs which are currently in the queue.ToolboxThe toolbox project was covered in more detail in the last tutorial. This can be used to clear the cache and change proxy settings. It’s also possible to set it to run any external application with command line options. This is only really required by power users. If you don’t understand exactly what this does then you probably don’t need it.

The best way of doing this is to schedule the toolbox to run in-between other projects. This makes it very simple to set up.

Page 21: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

Forum Profile ProjectThis is pretty simple, there’s nothing too difficult. The Web 2.0 profile project and this one are actually quite similar.

For the forum profile account creation project (not shown here) The box on the left is where you paste in a list of custom websites that can be scraped off the internet. Most people probably won’t be using this, instead they will submit to the built in sites included in SENuke. You can also limit it by the different platforms using the tick boxes at the top.

As most people will use the default list there is no need to add anything in the custom website list. If you are using custom sites then you can check duplicates and save it to the URL list. If you want to delete any websites then simply right click it and click Delete selected URLs, then it will be

Page 22: Webinar Advanced Tutorial - SEnuke

removed from the list.

If you run an account creation project and you see that lots of your custom sites are failing then these can be removed from the list to speed up the process.

You can use profile details from a particular profile and then load all the details from there. There’s no button here to create email addresses. You will need to create this in the Account Creation Project and then import all the details into the Forum Profile Account Creation Project.

Everything else should be very self-explanatory. The auto scroll option will scroll the list depending on which sites are being submitted to at the moment. Unchecking this will allow you to see which ones are successful.

There are also optional profile details. You can tell it to upload a profile picture now, but not all of the sites will allow profile pictures. Make sure that the image is as small as possible to speed up the uploading process.FAQ’sCan I put nested spins in the Titles?

Yes, nested spins are supported anywhere that spins are supported in the software

What can I do about SENuke X killing Windows Processes which are running?

SENukeX is designed to run on its own for weeks. There are some windows which can popup and prevent SENuke from running as it should. This is why SENuke X will try to kill these windows which could block the service.

If you go into the options you can disable the Window/Message Box Closing. However a better option is to use the exceptions to stop it closing certain windows. If you disable window closing completely then don't be surprised if you come back and SEnuke is stuck due to a popup window.

Does the computer need to run all the time for SENuke to work?

Yes, SENuke X will only run when your computer is switched on. It’s fine to leave your computer on all the time to process this. You might want to purchase a virtual private server that is running somewhere else all the time. You can then use remote desktop to control and run SENuke. This is a pretty affordable way of using SENuke all the time without leaving your computer on. Check out nukevps.com for servers configured specifically for SEnuke X.

Can I run SENuke X on more than one computer at a time?

The SENuke X license allows you to install and use the software on three computers at the same time. It can also be run on virtual private servers and remote machines, but each one of these will count as one computer.
