Home page

This status bar shows estimate of current amount of material in print cartridge.

The Bulb Status shows current bulb energy status. When this gets to 50% the user will be prompted to change bulbs for better performance for the printer.

Print Name is name of current print being printed

Print Height is the current height the print is built to. It will increase with the print until the print is complete.

Estimated Time Remaining is the current time left to complete the print.

Build Consumption is the dynamic cumulative amount of material used.

Pause allows print to be restarted. Stop does NOT allow for build to be restarted.

Home Page- Help Page

• Material shows current material in cartridge

Create New Print Page

Some materials have more than one mode of print available.

Standard Style is the default print mode.

The material cartridge currently in the printer is shown in black. All other materials are shown in grey print.

A print job may be created from any material in the Material List, but only the print job that matches the material currently in the printer may be printed at any time.

If a print job created in a material NOT currently in the printer, simply replace the material cartridge, material tray, gasket, and coater bar for the desired print material\job.

New Print Create Page- Help pageThe purpose of the New Print Create Page is to allow the user a method for naming prints, projects, and choosing the materials and print styles to create with.

• Submitter is defaulted to the printer hostname.

• Print Name is entered by the User. Note the print name cannot be a duplicate of an already submitted print.

• Project name is entered by the User.

• Email defaults to the User logged into the printer and emails are sent with print start, pause, and print completed information.

• The material cartridge currently in the printer is shown in black. All other materials are shown in grey print.

A print job may be created from any material in the Material List, but only the print job that matches the material currently in the printer may be printed at any time.

If a print job created in a material NOT currently in the printer, simply replace the material cartridge, material tray, gasket, and coater bar for the desired print material\job.

Prints Queue- Help pageThe purpose of the Prints Queue page is to provide a list of all available prints created on the given printer. The list also provides specific information for each print.

• Link in blue is the Print Name given by the user.

• Next to each Print Name is one of four icons– Yellow spinning status circle shows a print that is currently being printed or Active icon.– Blue Matrix icon shows a print that is not active, but waiting in the queue or Queue icon.– Green triangle shows print that has completed, and waiting to be removed form the printer or Completed icon.– Red Triangle shows print that is aborted or Aborted icon.

• Under each Print Name the following information is given:– Estimated Print Time-

• If the print has the Active Icon then the time shown is the estimated time left in the print to completion.• If the print has the Queue icon then the time shown is an estimate of the complete time of the print.

– Print Material used- This only is given for the Active icon, and shows the current amount of material used thus far in the print.– Estimated Print Material used is an estimate of the amount of material to be used in the given print.– Each Print name also has the print material it was created to use listed underneath.

• Up\Down arrows allow for prints to be prioritized in the queue. Note that a print that has already started may not be moved.

• The red X is used to Delete a print. When pressed the User will be prompted to acknowledge that choice before the printer will execute the abort.

Print Tracking Page- HELP page

The purpose of the Print tracking page is to allow for the user to open and view a history of prints on the printer.

• The information can be retrieved by pressing the Download Data button and opening the TSV file in spreadsheet.

• The information contained in the TSV file is:– Print Name– Print Submitter– Project– Print State– Start Time– Duration- time for print to complete– Material- type of material– Material used- Amount (mL)– Height (in)

• The data can be retrieved from durations of Previous Week up to Previous Year• Data can only be retrieved when printer is not printing

Users - HELP page

The purpose of the USERS page is to list all registered users for the given printer. This is the place all user data is added, and removed after a printer has been registered.• Create New Account link allows for new users to be added by going to a USER

Account page.• The link by each user icon allows for a user to edit user information or to delete a

user form the printer.• The email link opens the default email system on the client PC to send an email.

Create New Account page

Login and Password must be entered for each user. This is to be used by given user to login into printer for operation.

Role is defined as User or Administrator. The Administrator has the privileges to:1. Advanced tab-(Shut down, diagnostics

and software updates)2. Ability to change settings3. Delete jobs

Display Name is what name appears in the Users page.

Email is used only if the User wants email notification.

Notification can either be Browser or Browser & Email.

Browser only notifies the User on the client browser when a print has started, paused, resumed, aborted, or completed.

Browser & Email will also send an email to address given above for each print action listed with Browser.

Setting- Network Identification Settings

Enable DHCP is default setting for the printer. This allows for client PC to easily access and assign IP address to communicate with printer.

Static IP Address Settings are automatically filled in for Enable DHCP printers. If a user desires static IP Address settings, then 1- Uncheck the Enable DHCP box2- Fill in correct information for desired static settings.

Link gives all help information for SMTP settings.

Test Email Address requires the user email address to be entered. Then press the Send Test Email button and a response will quickly be shown at the top if this page.

Advanced-Diagnostics- Current Status

The Start Remote Diagnostics button gives the Printer assigned Service technician remote access to the printer. This allows for the service technician to access information to restore the printer to proper working condition. *3D personnel only.

All of these items are automatically filled in by the printer.

Advanced-Diagnostics- Sensors and Outputs

Outputs: Checking the box will activate the corresponding output

UV Sensor is measured count of UV light at sensor.

Puff Pump Count is measured count when printer is in puff mode. This value is always <100 count above Ambient Pump Count.

Vacuum Pump Count is measured count when printer is in vacuum mode. The Vacuum Pump Count should be ~150 count below Ambient Pressure.

Ambient Pump Count is measured count when printer is powered on.

Home Position will allow for the shuttle to move to home position from any other position. If encoder position is lost due to a failure, this is used to regain the shuttle home. Accompanying readout is a target.

Coat Position is the position to move too, in order to coat or recoat the material tray with material. Accompanying readout is a target.

Fill Position is the position to move to in order to actuate the cartridge valves and add material to the material tray. Accompanying readout is a target.Current Position is a readout of the current

position. Note the values do not have units. Each move has a tolerance of ~0.100 and is not cumulative.

Diagnostics- Shuttle Motion Help page

The purpose of the Shuttle Motion page is to allow for the user to correct shuttle errors, and to manually home the shuttle, or fill the tray.

Advanced-Diagnostics-Routines

Perform Maintenance Routine enables the shuttle assembly to move back and forth to remove any excess debris that may be in the tray.

If a large piece of debris is in the tray, unlock the door, lift the shuttle tray and remove with gloves or a putty knife.

Perform Low Material Tray Fill Routine enables the printer to perform a routine to add material to a low material tray. Do not over fill material tray.

Limit to 4-fills. Reset only on reboot, print pause, or build complete.

Start Coat Test enables the printer to perform a routine to coat the material tray 5-cycles. The user must input the number of cycles.

Perform New Material Tray Fill Routine enables the printer to perform a routine to fill a new material tray.

The material tray MUST be empty or near empty or this could overflow the material tray.

Material Tray Cure Routine enables the printer to cure material in material tray before disposing of material tray in alignment with local standards.

Diagnostics- Service Routine Help Page

• Service Elevator Alignment Routine enables the printer service technician a method to align the elevators during assembly or replacement.

This cycles the elevator assembly from top to bottom and finishes at the glass to tighten the elevator base to the chassis.

• Service Load Cell Calibration Routine enables the printer service technician a method to calibrate the load cell during assembly or replacement.

This will require the service technician to have an empty (or near empty) and a full (or near full) cartridges.

• Service Imager Calibration Routine enables the printer service technician a method to calibrate or recalibrate an imager during service or replacement.

This provides a template and target to calibrate the system for better accuracy.
