3 The Function of WebEDI
3.1Login
3.1.1 home page
Outline
The home page is entrance for you to login this System.
You can select menu and download applications required to use this system.
Sample Screen
Description
(1) When you want to start “VMI” service,
click the "VMI" button.
(2) When you want to start “WebEDI” service,
click the "WebEDI" button.
(3) When you want to start “Profile Maintenance” service,
click the "Profile" button.
(4) When you want to start “VMI Superuser” service,
click the "VMI Superuser" button.
(5) When you want to download manuals,
the manual of PDF form can be downloaded on the screen.

Outline
If a button (”VMI”,”WebEDI”,”Profile”,”VMISuperuser”) is clicked on the home page,
the following login page is displayed.

(1) Input User ID and Password.
Field Description
User ID Enter the User ID of those who use.
Password Enter the password of User ID.
(2) Click “OK” button to login this system.
Button Description
OK When you will login on this system, click this button.
Cancel When you will not login on this system, click this button.

Outline
After it logs it in, the password expiration date is checked.

Display conditions
This screen will be displayed when all conditions correspond as follows.
(1) [A] is displayed one month before login person's password expiration date (six months) passes.
(2) When login password expiration date (six months) passes, [B] is displayed.

Item Description
Old Password Password, which logs in now is inputted.
New Password New password is inputted.
New Password Confirmation New password is inputted for a check.
OK If this button is clicked, it will change to “Select Vendor“screen.
Description
(1) The screen where warning is pressed to change to a new password before it expires is displayed.
(2) It is not revocable in last time and the same password.

3.3.1 Select Vendor

“Select Vender” screen will be displayed after login.

Display conditions
This screen will be displayed when all conditions are fulfilled below.
(1) the authority of the login person is Local Planner, Local Buyer, Global Buyer, or Group Admin.
Description
(1) Select a vender from the "Vender Code" list.
(2) On various subsequent reference screens, the vender's information chosen here is applicable.
(3) Using the Buttons.
Button Description
OK If this button is clicked, it will change to
“Bulletin Board Maintenance “screen.
Additional Information
The vender’s list displayed on "Vender Code” List will change with authority of the user who logged in.
・In the case of Local Planner, Local Buyer, and Global Buyer, they will be the venders which

connected relation to Site that the user belongs.
・In the case of Global Admin, they will be the venders which connected relation to Group to which the
user belongs Group Admin.

Outline
When logged in by the authority more than Local Planner, Buyer’s menu buttons will be displayed.

“Sending Data Reference” screen.

Use screen “Bulletin Board information” to search Bulletin Board information

(1) If the link “Bulletin Board Maintenance” on the Left frame is clicked, Screen “Bulletin Board
Maintenance” will appear.
(2) Using the buttons (Upper frame)
Button Description
GO When you will search the bulletin board information, choose the site
and click this button.
Create New When you will create new bulletin board information, click this
button.
(3) Search condition
Item Description
Site Choose the site.
・ The result will be displayed on the lower of the screen.
・ When there is no corresponding information, the message “There is no corresponding
information. Please retry.” will be displayed.

Use screen “Bulletin board List” to see and change the registered bulletin board information.

Date When you will see or edit the bulletin board information, click this link.

Site Shows the site of the Bulletin Board Information.
Date Shows the registered date of the Bulletin Board Information.

Contents Shows the Contents of the Bulletin Board Information.
Link Shows the existence of the link.

button.
Reset When you will reset the bulletin board information, click this button.
Return When you will return to screen “Bulletin Board Information”, click
this button.

Upload The selected file is registered.

If the link is pushed, the file uploaded can be downloaded.

Phone No. Enter the Phone Number of the vender (max 30 digits).
FAX Enter the Facsimile Number of the vender (max 30digits).
Homepage Address Enter the URL of the vender’s home page address.(max 200 digits)
Utilize Menu Enter the service that the vender uses.
(4) Enter the above items, and click the [OK] button.
・the result is displayed on the lower frame of the screen.
・When registered normally, the message “Vendor registration completed. (Registered Vendor Code:
xxxx)” (“xxxx” means Vendor Code.) will be displayed in the lower frame of the screen.
・When an error occurs, the error message will be displayed.

Additional Information
“Vender Code” and “Toshiba Vendor Code” are checked by the system so that the relation of 1:1 may
always be maintained. Double registration cannot already be performed to what has "Vender Code" or the
registered "Toshiba Vender Code.”. It becomes a registration error.

Outline
Use Screen “Change Vender data” to change or delete registered vender information.

Description
(1) If the link [Change Vendor Data] is clicked on Screen” Vendor Data Maintenance Menu”,
the screen “Change Vendor data” will appear.
(2) Using the Buttons/Links
Button/Link Description
Delete When you will delete the registered vender information, click this
button.
Vendor Code link of each

When you will see details, click this link.

No. Shows the number which continues continuously from 1.
Site Shows the Site (max 3 digits).
ID Shows the Group ID (max 2 digits).
Vendor Code Shows the Vender Code (max 12 digits).
Vendor Name Shows the Vender Name in English (max 50 digits).
Vendor Name(Original) Shows the Vender Name in Original language (max 50 digits).
(4) When you will delete the vender information, click [Delete] button.
・When deleted normally, the message “Vendor Deleted.” will be displayed in the lower frame of the
screen.
・When an error occurs, the error message will be displayed.

Section* Enter the section where the user belongs.(max 50 digit)
Access Level* Choose the access level of the user.
Represent Choose the existence of the representation authority of the user who
registers.
(It restricts, when the user who registers is Supplier.)
Parts Category Enter the Parts Category of the vender user.(max 3 digits)
(It restricts, when the user who registers is Second Supplier.)
Emergency Phone No. Enter the Emergency Phone Number of the user (max 30 digits).
E-Mail Address Enter the E-Mail Address (max 100 digits).
E-Mail Transport Choose the E-mail Transport existence of the user who registers.
(4) Enter the above items, and click the [OK] button.
・the result is displayed on the lower frame of the screen.
・When registered normally, the message “User ID registration completed” will be displayed in the
lower frame of the screen.
・When an error occurs, the error message will be displayed.

Item Description
Site Shows the Site for each user.(max 5 digits)
ID Shows the Group ID for each user.(max 2 digits)
User ID(link) Shows the user ID of the registered user.
If you will change the user information, click the user ID link.
In the case of the data belonging to another Group ID, it cannot click.
Password Shows the password for each user.
In the case of the data belonging to another Group ID, It is not
displayed.
Name Shows the user name of the user (max 100 digits).
Toshiba Vendor Code Shows the Toshiba Vender Coder for each user.(max 12 digits)
Section Shows the Section of the user.(max 50 digits)
Access Level Shows the Access Level of the user.
Represent Shows the existence of the representation authority for each user.
Change Date Shows the user information of with update.
(4) When you will delete the vender information, click [Delete] button.
・the result is displayed on the lower frame of the screen.
・When deleted normally, the message “User information was deleted.” will be displayed in the lower
frame of the screen.
