    Hub Café @ Ajani provides hospitality and retailwork skills training and practical experience thatprovides knowledge and experience to help gainemployment with local businesses.

    Bring your friends and family along between9.30am and 2.30pm to enjoy the refreshmentsoffered at the café.

    Onemda strives to enhance the quality of life forpeople with an intellectual disability by providingsupport, experiences and interactions to developskills and enrich lives.

    Onemda provides vocational, education & recreationprograms including:

    • Life & Work skills modules • Sports activi ties

    • Drama and Music programs • Art• PhotographyIndependent • Living Skills

    The Onemda LEAP campus is located at theCommunity Hub @ Ajani and has a focus ontransition to employment.

    The Onemda LEAP participants work at the HubCafé @ Ajani on Thursdays 9:30am to 2:30pm.The Hub Café @ Ajani provides great coffee andfood to the local community, whilst providinghospitability training to the LEAP participants.

    Doncare Community Services has provided supportto families, the aged, youth and disadvantaged inthe City of Manningham and surrounds for 45 years.We combine professional staff and a team of over500 trained volunteers to provide a broad range ofservices.

    Our core programs include:

    • Family Services • Information & Crisis Support

    • Case Management • Social Support for Seniors

    • Opportunity Shops • Domestic Violence Advocacy

    • Counselling • Volunteering in Manningham

    Doncare has a worker at the Community Hub at

    Story Café

    Relax with a story!Story Café is a storytelling session for adults. Hand-picked stories and poems are read aloud by a librarystaff member, in a relaxed group setting.

    Enjoy a cuppa from the cafe, bring your knitting, orjust sit and relax. Slow down and enjoy the simplepleasure of listening to stories being read aloud to

    you. The sessions will be held on Thursdays at 2pmat the Community Hub @ Ajani.

    Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) providesfree legal advice to residents across Manningham atour Box Hill ofce as well as offering appointments atthe Community Hub @ Ajani on the fourth Mondayafternoon of the month.

    Areas of legal problems include:

    • Family violence • Criminal Law

    • Infringements • Victims of crime compensation

    • Family Law and other family issues

    Interpreters available in all languages and can bebooked to attend appointments.

    ECLC can also provide free education sessions toorganisations and community groups about thelaw and ways to prevent legal problems. Thesesessions can be tailored to a group and offeredacross the region.
