A great deal of work goes into planning and making an acquired structure burn a success for your department. Your instructors should be familiar with what it takes to make this hands-on training safe and compliant with applicable standards, laws, and operational procedures.
We will dive into tips for acquiring these structures, liability, building specific preparations, EPA requirements, NFPA standards, instructor / student prep, and tricks of the trade obtained from years of burning someone else’s junk down.
