5. TED TALK – on the Ted Talk PlatformYou will demonstrate your advocacy through a TED TALK to be delivered on June 27th.

Plan your Ted Talk using the Ted Talk Plan/Criteria Document Time of your Ted Talk will be given to you Length of Ted Talk: At least 5 minutes – no longer than 10 minutes Evidence of everyone in the group involved in some way is required Proof of Action Steps must be demonstrated in the Ted Talk

6. ADVOCACY BOOTH AND PRODUCT CREATION – Layout Plan for BoothYou will plan and will design your demonstration area, create needed props, signs, technology, etc. for “Advocates of the Roundtable” Demonstration. You will be provided with a table, chairs, and a space approximately 9ft x 9ft. You will need to ask if you need technology equipment and extra space.

You must have a product creation that is directly linked to your cause. (See box 2) Product must be tangible, unique and hand-created by YOU to represent your cause. It is encouraged that you have something to distribute when people come to your booth

such as buttons, cards, trinkets of some kind, pamphlets, etc. Be creative!

7. INVITATIONSYou will invite people to the demonstration. Copies of letters should be in your notebook.

INVITATION LETTERS must be sent online or by hard copies. Paper with “Advocates of the Roundtable” letterhead will be provided.

Invitations sent out byJUNE 19th at the latest.

8. ADVOCATES OF THE ROUNDTABLE BINDERS All documents should be neatly organized in your binders. Documents will be put on Google Classroom for you to complete neat copies, printed out

and placed in notebook. Drafts of hand-written documents should also be in notebook Table of Contents page required Photo page and any other documentation needed for proof of your work should be

included in the binder.

FINAL BINDERS DUE June 27th Demonstration Day

9. REFLECTIONSYou will complete reflections – both discussion and written of the process in this Advocates of the Roundtable Problem-based Unit

Reflection materials will be provided.
