About The InstitutionMLR Institute of Technology (Autonomous) is one of the prestigious engineering colleges in Hyderabad, Telangana, established in 2005. About the DepartmentThe Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at MLR Institute of Technology was established in the year 2005 for imparting state-of-the-art knowledge in Electronics and Communication Engineering and allied areas. The department has 67 faculty members including 8 doctorates in different domains. Faculty members and students of Dept. of ECE frequently get awards, prizes for outstanding research contributions in their respective fields. The department has state-of-the art laboratories in almost all the areas of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering. Apart from this, it also has Centre of Excellence’s in LabVIEW, Embedded & Robotics,MATLAB, Cadence& PCB Manufacturing.
About IETEThe Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India's apex professional society, founded in the year 1953 for promoting the general advancement of Telecommunication, Electronics and Information Technology and to facilitate exchange of information and ideas. It endeavours to respond to the needs of fast changing and emerging technologies and strengthens competence of the professionthrough academic projects, courses and industry coordination through its network of over 125000 members, IETE student forums (ISFs), 64 centres and numerous sub-centres in India and Nepal. About IETE Hyderabad Centre IETE Hyderabad centre was established in 1973. It has around 76 ISFs and two sub-centres with more than 1800 student members, 1900 corporate members. Theme:The advent of technology has industrialized the industrial and education society. Despite its success, there are several aspects which need significant improvements. A comprehensive interdisciplinary research and development effort is needed to address these issues. This national convention aims at providing comprehensive coverage of most emerging research topics in various fields related to VLSI Design, Signal Processing, and Communication Systems as they are not only interrelated but also interdependent. Signal processing is a ubiquitous technology which plays the central role in many different areas of applications, e.g., audio, video, image and speech processing, communications, healthcare, automotive safety and surveillance, safety and security of underground pipelines transporting water, oil and natural gas, and many more. Typical Signal processing algorithms are computation intensive and may sometimes require FPGA for Co-processing. Whereas the VLSI is backbone for fabricating all type modern Integrated circuits. It intends to provide opportunity for participants to interact with experts in this field from both academics and industry.
Resource PersonsThe resource persons are from DRDO,IETE,NRSC, ISRO, and senior faculty members from Premier Academic institutes.

Accommodation:For out station participant accommodation and travel expenses shall be borne by the participants. Several good hotels with reasonable price are available in and around College. However, Participants can avail college bus facility from various places in Hyderabad.
