Raritan Public Library has just acquired another museum pass program for its patrons to the Da Vinci Science center in Allentown, PA. The pass allows 2 adults and 4 children into the Science Center free of charge. Open daily, the Da Vinci Center shows visitors how much fun science can be with plenty of hands on exhibits. Opening October 11 th , 2014 and running through January 19 th , 2015, “Be the Dinosaur” a traveling exhibit will be featured. The Da Vinci Science Center is located at 3145 Hamilton Blvd. Bypass in Allentown, PA. For more information about the Da Vinci Science center or on the other museum pass programs offered (Grounds for Sculpture and the Morris Museum), please call the Library at (908)725-0413. Movie Night: Heaven is for RealThursday, November 13th @6:00pm

“Furniture Painting” ClassThursday, November 6th @6:00pm

Join Irene Mortko as she demonstrates a painting technique using a new product called “chalky finish” paint. Chalky finish paint has a unique chalk matte

finish that creates beautiful, vintage décor pieces. It’s a great product for painting old furniture or for flea market finds.

The paint adheres to wood, ceramics, canvas, fabrics, terra cotta, metal, glass and most plastics. Learn a new painting technique and practice it at the Library.

Holiday Celebration/American Boychoir Performance December 11th, 2014@ 6:30pm

Join us for a holiday celebration at the Raritan Public Library including a special choir performance by a smaller group of 10 members from the

American Boychoir School in Princeton, New Jersey. The Boychoir regularly performs around the country and internationally with

distinguished orchestras. Festivities begin at 6:00 pm; performance at 6:30 pm. Registration is required.
