Introduction“Was that really God’s voice?” I thought. Isn’t it funny how people ask themselves that question when they already know the answer? After all, I had been “born again” for over 30 years. If I didn’t know God’s voice by now, I was in serious trouble.

In reality, I knew that it was God, I just was unsure if I wanted to admit it. He was calling me to something new - my Joseph Gate was wide open, but I’m getting ahead of myself…

It was early spring and I was safely tucked away as Church administrator and running a Christian school in Southern California. Life was predictable and seemed secure. I was married for 18 years with a beautiful daughter, who had just turned seven years old a few months earlier. I began to ask God how I could ever tell them what He wanted me to do. Silence followed - for what seemed like an eternity! Then God reminded me of “The Dream!”

While I had been blessed with a variety of dreams from God, this one confused me the most. About six months before, I dreamed that I was in a very dark tunnel. Panic tried to get its grip on me, as I associate darkness with evil. The tunnel was long and not very wide. As I reached out to feel the walls, I was surprised to feel a rubbery substance. Still, it was dark and I could not find a way out. I searched for anything to help me see but nothing was to be found. I was alone in the darkness!

The experience was surreal, as I was in the dream, but also felt like I was an outside observer. I kept wondering how I would get out of this predicament. I began to wonder if I was in hell, “Why would God punish me like this?” As I pondered these things, a small pin of light appeared in the distance. It seemed like there might just be a way out after all, but it appeared to be a long, hard journey to get there. Then I woke up.

Lying there in bed, my wife sound asleep by my side, I burst into tears. Report No.: tjg001 Rev 1.0 01/24/09 Page 4 of 34

“God”, I asked, “what does this mean”? Still, no answer came and I continued to wonder what the dream meant.

In the weeks that followed, I shared the dream with many friends and associates. Everyone seemed to interpret it differently, many out of their own desperation. Funny how people can turn something like this toward themselves, as if the dream was about them!

Six months later, I was minding my own business, sitting at my desk, preparing for the last few months of school. All of a sudden, The Joseph Gate opened once again! God began to deal with me about selling our home, uprooting my family, and moving to Nashville, Tennessee. On top of that, He wanted me to start my own business. Actually, multiple businesses!

As The Joseph Gate opens in both directions, I seized upon the opportunity to begin arguing with God. I didn’t have enough money… my wife would never go for it (her father lost everything when he retired and sunk his savings in a small business)… my daughter was attached to her school, our Church, her friends, her dance company. In reality, I didn’t want to admit to my own insecurity. What He was asking was such a commitment and a risk.

Then, a new “download” from God arrived and the dream suddenly became clear. While I thought for six months that I was in a dark tunnel, God explained that I was really in a birth canal! He had been preparing me for something new to be birthed in my life, as well as my family’s.

Fast forward three months and we had sold the house (it took all of three days), my wife left her job of twenty years, and we found ourselves in Nashville getting our new businesses underway. The dream had begun exactly nine months after that fateful night. I was finally delivered from the birth canal!

You may be wondering what I mean by the term “The Joseph Gate”, or “my Joseph Gate”. Simply put, a “Joseph Gate” is a term God gave me

which describes when heaven opens and some type of communication takes place between God and man.

I believe He chose Joseph as a model for Divine communication, as the path of his life was determined by dreams – whether they were his or someone else’s.

However, Divine communication through your Joseph Gate is not limited to dreams. God will communicate with you any way He chooses. The Bible is full of different methods of communication used by God.

God enjoys variety. He may communicate to you one way today and another tomorrow. However, He desperately wants to communicate with you.

As a telephone needs both a sender and a receiver for communication to take place, your Joseph Gate works the same way.

God created man to communicate directly with Him. They walked and talked together in the Garden of Eden.

Even after the fall of man, Adam and Eve “heard” the sound of the Lord God in the garden (Gen 3:8). God was approaching - He wanted to communicate!

Certainly God knew about the fall before He arrived in the garden. Still, He wanted to communicate, but conditions had to be satisfied.

When He saw the figs used for coverings, God knew they were insufficient to reestablish communication. Blood was necessary to cover sin, so God sacrificed animals on their behalf and made them garments from the skins.

Now, he could speak with them, but under a new set of rules.

When idolatry crept in at the Tower of Babel, God confused their language. Heavenly communication is to be limited to Him and his

servants. He would not allow anything else!

Hundreds of years later, in the desert after the Exodus from Egypt, God came to speak to his people directly with His commandments. The Israelites were frightened by His thunderous voice and pled with God to stop (Exod. 20:19).

They rejected communicating directly with God and asked for Him to speak to them through Moses alone. How this must have broken our Creator’s heart.

Since then, a new system of communication was established. Where God spoke to Moses face to face, He speaks to others primarily through visions and dreams.

“Indeed God speaks once,Or twice, yet no one notices it.In a dream, a vision of the night,When sound sleep falls on men,While they slumber in their beds,Then He opens the ears of men,And seals their instruction” (Job 33:14-16).

Yet, you can still hear His voice. How do you know when it is Him speaking? Let’s take a look at the first Joseph Gate…

Key: The Origin of the First Joseph GateJoseph’s life began as a son of an indentured servant. His father, Jacob, was under contract with his uncle Laban. This originally was a 7-year contract that Jacob agreed to. At the end of the contract, Jacob was to marry his beloved, Rachel.

At the end of the 7 years, a great wedding was planned and the ceremony ended with Joseph discovering that he had just married Rachel’s older sister, Leah!

You can imagine Jacob’s shock. His contract was to marry Rachel – not Leah! When he confronted his uncle, Laban told him that he could not allow Rachel to marry before her older sister did.

Laban maneuvered Jacob into a new contract. He offered to allow Jacob to marry Rachel right away – if Jacob promised to work for Laban another 7 years.

Jacob was so in love with Rachel that he agreed. One week later they married. In the course of this “contract”, Laban changed Jacob’s wages 10 times (Gen. 31:7).

Why was Jacob treated so poorly? Why didn’t God warn him about the tricks? I believe that it had to do with the law of sowing and reaping. Jacob’s very name meant “deceiver” or “usurper”.

Jacob usurped his twin brother’s birthright. He deceived his own father, Isaac. You see, Isaac’s eyesight was failing at the end of his life. As he was pronouncing a final blessing over his sons, the only way he could tell which son he was blessing was through his remaining senses.

As he reached out to touch Jacob, he felt the hairy garment Jacob wore to trick him. As Jacob wore his brother’s clothing, he smelled just like his brother. Jacob even brought food to Isaac that tasted like his brother’s recipe.

While Isaac wondered why the voice he heard sounded like Jacob’s, his other senses convinced him that it was really his eldest son Esau - and the blessing of inheritance was given to Jacob.

Now, years later, Jacob was receiving what he had sown – he was deceived into marrying a woman he didn’t love and working 14 years to marry the woman he did love.

Although Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah, Leah was the one initially blessed with children. Rachel cried out to God for years for children and finally gave birth to Joseph.

This was the environment Joseph was born into. Both his father and grandfather (Laban) were deceitful and manipulative.

His father owned nothing. His was a life ruled by debt – debt to a deceitful man. On top of that, Jacob ended up with a large family to care for. Even Jacob’s children were the property of Laban – including Joseph (Gen 31:43).

In effect, Joseph was born a slave. But, even if Joseph’s father was wealthy, Joseph had so many older brothers that there was no way he would receive much in the way of inheritance. The worldly prospects for this new life were dim from the start.

Yet, he had a special gate that changed everything…

Key: Knowing God and God Knowing YouLet’s look at Numbers 12:6-8)

“Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, shall make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak with him in a dream. Not so, with My servant Moses, He is faithful in all My household; With him I speak mouth to mouth, Even openly, and not in dark sayings, And he beholds the form of the Lord.” (Num 12:6-8) Emphasis Mine.

Our Joseph Gates are not restricted to just dreams. While God speaks to us in dreams, He makes Himself known to us in visions!

Being known by God is critical. In both the Hebrew and Greek languages, the words for “know” mean the same thing – “intimacy”! Think about it – Adam “knew” Eve! How much more intimate can something be?

Key: Your Joseph Gate is Within YouThere is an oneness – a joining – that comes with such intimacy. God wants intimacy with you! That’s why He comes to live inside you at salvation:

“The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20-21) Emphasis Mine.

“The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of his being” (Prov. 20:27).

“to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col 1:27).

Without this intimacy, you cannot enter His kingdom:

“Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'” (Matt 7:21-23) Emphasis Mine.

This subject is covered more fully in The Joseph Gate article, “Kingdom Strategies for Today’s World”. However, it is important to understand here that Jesus said this in the context of entering the kingdom of heaven.

Key: Your Joseph Gate Gives You Access to the Kingdom of Heaven TodayThis is not pointing to some future event. Jesus brought the kingdom of heaven with Him wherever He went. He constantly said things like, “the kingdom of heaven is upon you” and “the kingdom of heaven is at hand”.

Jesus was telling people that the kingdom of heaven is here now. It was within Him as it is within you today! He taught parables about the kingdom of heaven. It was the main theme of His ministry.

There is an interesting parallel account to Matthew’s in Luke:

“Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, 'Lord, open up to us!' then He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know where you are from.' Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets'; and He will say, 'I tell you, I do not know where you are from; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.' In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out. And they will come from east and west and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God. And behold, some are last who will be first and some are first who will be last” (Luke 13:24-30) Emphasis Mine.

In this account, Jesus talks about entering the kingdom of heaven (God) through a door. Remember, doors, gates, windows, portals, etc. are all symbols of open communication/fellowship with God.

Jesus is saying that this “Joseph Gate” is narrow, requires God “knowing you” to enter, and that God shuts the door on those He does not know (have an intimate relationship with).

We commune with God after entering our Joseph Gate. We recline at His table. Until our spirits are freed from our physical bodies, the kingdom of heaven is within us.

There are many different types of gates, but you will find your Joseph Gate – your access to the kingdom of heaven – within you!

In the future, those who do not enter the kingdom of heaven will see us through a dimensional barrier, as the rich man saw Lazarus being comforted by Abraham (Luke 16:23).

But that does not mean that the kingdom of heaven is some futuristic thing. No, it is now – we carry it within us just as Jesus did!

Key: The Kingdom of Heaven is the Spiritual RealmA similar passage is found in Revelation 4:1-2:

“After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things." Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne” Emphasis Mine.

Once again, we see a door (gate) granting access to heaven – the spiritual realm (dimension). John was granted access to heaven through this door (gate). He arrived in heaven “in the Spirit” or in the spiritual realm.

Heaven, the kingdom of heaven (God) and the spiritual realm (dimension) are the same thing! The kingdom of heaven is here, right now. It exists in time and space alongside the natural, physical realm.

The apostle Paul understood this concept. Look at what he wrote to the church in Ephesus:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Eph 1:3) Emphasis Mine.

Notice that God blesses us in the heavenly places – not the natural, physical realm. Your Joseph Gate provides you access to heavenly places (spiritual realm) to take hold of the blessings of God.

Paul goes on to say:

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of

His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come” (Eph 1:18-21) Emphasis Mine.

Key: Jesus is Your Joseph GatePaul is saying that Jesus is seated in the same heavenly places that our blessings from God reside in. This is a crucial point, as Jesus is our gateway to heaven (spiritual realm). Jesus Himself said this:

“Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture” (John 10:7-9) Emphasis Mine.

Notice Jesus’ emphasis that we enter heavenly places through Him as the door (gate). He also says that we can go in and out of heavenly places.

Key: Active Spiritual Senses are Required for Access Through Your Joseph GateGoing back to Revelation, Jesus said,

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” (Rev 3:20-22) Emphasis Mine.

If your Joseph Gate is closed, Jesus is knocking, waiting for you to hear. There is a spiritual sense of hearing required to “hear” Jesus knocking.

Once your “hearing” is activated, you can open the door yourself – your Joseph Gate – through faith. He wants to dine with you – fellowship. This is discussed more fully in The Joseph Gate article, “Activating Your Spiritual Senses”.

Key: Seated With Jesus Upon Entering Your Joseph GateJesus also wants you to sit with Him on His throne. Once again, this is not a future event! This is available to you right now through your Joseph Gate. Being seated on a throne reflects your authority in Christ.

Let’s go back to Paul’s teaching in Ephesians:

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph 2:4-6) Emphasis Mine.

Paul is saying that you are already seated with Jesus in heavenly places (spiritual realm). Since you are seated there, you can withdraw the blessings of God we discussed earlier.

Key: Your Joseph Gate Gives You Access to Your BlessingsThe key to withdrawing these blessings is found in The Lord’s Prayer:

“Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matt 6:10) Emphasis Mine.

Jesus was teaching us how to withdraw the blessings from the spirit realm. Pray for your blessing to be the same on earth as it is in heaven. You have to go get it through your Joseph Gate!

The problem is that most of us are completely unaware of the spiritual realm. This awareness is part of what was lost in the Garden of Eden. This will be discussed more fully in The Joseph Gate article, “Awakening Your Spiritual Senses”.

For now, keep in mind that God created us to naturally exist in both dimensions simultaneously.

You have a Joseph Gate as well. God may speak to you through dreams, but there are so many other ways that He communicates with us – different gates, if you will.

Key: Dreams Come Through Your Joseph GateDreams were a constant throughout Joseph’s life. They were his gateway to heaven and defined everything that happened to him (as well as his loved ones).

In the Bible, gates, doors and windows serve similar functions and the terms are frequently used interchangeably, depending on the context. In today’s jargon, we speak of portals, openings and dimensional shifts.

Yet, the real message is in simplicity. No matter the term, they all provide a means of entry and communication with God. At the Joseph Gate, God downloaded dreams into Joseph’s soul. These were exciting dreams – big dreams – dreams of success and greatness. Dreams that no slave would ever dare dream!

Being young when The Joseph Gate opened, Joseph wasn’t mature enough to know what to do with his dreams. He didn’t know how to interpret them. He also didn’t know the language of the Spirit of God. Consequently, he made youthful mistakes.

Key: Seek Wise Counsel to Understand Your DreamsHis first mistake was to not seek counsel. He had his own father to turn to. Jacob had an incredible dream earlier in life at Bethel.

He saw a ladder between heaven and earth. God was above the ladder and angels were ascending and descending the ladder. The Lord spoke to him in this dream and reaffirmed the covenant He previously made with Abraham. Jacob recognized this dream as a “gateway of heaven” (Gen. 28:17).

Did you ever realize that Jesus is the ladder- the gateway of heaven - that Jacob dreamed about?

“Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man” (John 1:51).

Key: Shield Your Dreams From Scoffers and NaysayersJoseph’s next mistake was to share his dreams with his family, who all thought he had lost his mind. This is how his own brothers reacted when Joseph was sent to them by his father with provisions:

“When they saw him from a distance and before he came close to them, they plotted against him to put him to death. They said to one another, ‘Here comes this dreamer! Now then, come and let us kill him and throw him into one of the pits; and we will say, 'A wild beast devoured him.' Then let us see what will become of his dreams!" (Gen 37:18-20). Emphasis Mine

When God plants a dream, vision or desire in us, frequently it is our families who lead the opposition. They are the ones who tell us it can’t be done, at least not by me (or you). Even Jesus faced this and could not perform many miracles in His own hometown (Matt. 13:58).

Too often, similar reactions come from our friends. Even those in our Church family inadvertently treat our dreams this way.

Key: God Speaks and Gives Direction Through DreamsIn Hebrew tradition, there is little differentiation between a dream and a vision. The Scripture does provide some guidance:

“Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, shall make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak with him in a dream. Not so, with My servant Moses, He is faithful in all My household; With him I speak mouth to mouth, Even openly, and not in dark sayings, And he beholds the form of the Lord.” (Num 12:6-8) Emphasis Mine.

From these verses, we can see that God speaks to us in dreams. Here are some more biblical examples:

Abraham had a terrifying dream about his descendants being held in slavery for 400 years (Gen 15:12-17).

Abimelech has a dream where God warns him not to touch Abraham’s wife, Sarah. Abraham had lied to Abimelech and told him she was his sister (Gen 20: 3-7).

Jacob dreams of the ladder to heaven and receives promises from God (Gen 28:10-17).

The angel of the Lord speaks to Jacob in a dream. God gives him a creative plan about mating striped and spotted goats. This plan fools Laban, enriches Jacob, and ultimately led to Jacob’s family being freed (Gen 31:10-13).

As Laban is pursuing Jacob to force him back into servitude, he encounters God in a dream changes his plans (Gen 31:24).

Joseph has two dreams about how his father and brothers will bow down to him (Gen 37:1-11)

While jailed with Joseph in Egypt, both Pharaoh’s cupbearer and

baker had dreams. God used these dreams as a means of introducing Joseph to Pharaoh (Gen 40:5).

Pharaoh had two dreams which he didn’t understand. God used these dreams as the beginning of a sequence of events which leads to Joseph running the whole country (Gen 41:1-33).

Gideon overheard a man relating a dream which predicted Gideon’s victory in an upcoming battle (Judges 7:13-15).

The Lord appears to a young Solomon in a dream. This dream was interactive as God and Solomon engaged in conversation. In this dream, Solomon asked for wisdom in ruling God’s people. Not only was this granted, but also extreme prosperity and peace were given to him (1 Kings 3:5-14).

Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon has a dream of a large statue which he does not understand. He commands the “wise men” of Babylon to not only interpret the dream, but tell it to him. God uses Daniel to interpret this dream which outlines the future and Daniel is given a position of prominence in Babylon (Dan 2:3-45).

Nebuchadnezzar has another terrifying dream – this time about a tree and an angel who spoke to him. He once again summons the “wise men” of Babylon – but only Daniel could tell him the interpretation (Dan 4:5-27).

Daniel dreams of four beasts coming up from the great sea. This dream paralleled Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the statue in its interpretation, but he also saw God Himself, His throne, and the future Great White Throne Judgment. In his dream, Daniel spoke with an angel who gave him the interpretation (Dan 7:1-28).

Daniel has a parallel dream of a ram and a goat. In his dream, he sees and hears Jesus. Jesus instructs the angel Gabriel to give Daniel the interpretation of his dream (Dan 8:1-27).

Joseph has a dream where an angel instructs him to take Mary as

his wife, tells him to name the baby Jesus, and informed him that Jesus was the Messiah (Matt 1:20-23).

The Magi are warned in a dream not to return to Herod after they visited Jesus (Matt 2:12).

Joseph is warned by an angel, in a dream, about Herod’s plan to kill Jesus. He is instructed to flee to Egypt (Matt 2:13).

After Herod’s death, Joseph has another dream. An angel tells him that Herod died and it is safe to return home (Matt 2:19-20).

Joseph moves the family to Nazareth as instructed in a dream (Matt 2:22-23).

Pilate’s wife has a dream and warns Pilate to release Jesus (27:19).

Key: God Makes Himself Known to You in VisionsAs stated earlier, there is little differentiation between a dream and a vision.

From these verses, we can see that God makes Himself known through visions. Visions arrive through your Joseph Gate!

It is not my intent here to undertake an exhaustive study of the Hebrew and Greek words for visions. It is a fascinating study and I encourage you to spend the time when you have a chance.

That said there are different types of visions. They are all valid spiritual experiences you can have through your Joseph Gate. They can come with your eyes open or closed, as God wills.

The most common type of vision is panoramic. These are similar to a motion picture. I remember an “open eye” vision which God showed me in 2007.

I was driving my family from a fun day in Chattanooga, TN. As we were driving up the interstate toward Nashville, I “saw” an army dressed in old blue uniforms on the right side of the interstate.

It was as if the vision was superimposed over the interstate, as I could still see where I was driving.

Then I “saw” another army on the left side of the interstate. This army was dressed in old, gray uniforms.

The soldiers in both armies were carrying bayonets and the armies met in the median of the interstate. It seemed like a Civil War reenactment.

A bloody battle ensued. It was awful to witness and pretty much everyone died.

I asked God why He was showing me this. He told me that it was a picture of the church today – a church divided and not realizing it was simply killing itself off. Brother killing brother – all in the name of Jesus!

God stressed to me the importance of unity in the church. It also turned out to be a warning about an impending attack against me – an attack that came from within the church.

You see, visions are often a visual form of prophesy. In the Bible, prophets who received visual prophesies were called “Seers”.

Seer experiences were very common and included people like Nathan, Samuel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Abraham, Isaiah, Daniel, Nahum, Habakkuk, Peter, James, John, Zacharias, the women at Jesus’ tomb, and Ananias.

Peter was so used to having visions, that when an angel released him from prison, Peter thought it was a vision. However, it turned out to be a very real experience (Acts 12:9).

Another type of vision is the “snapshot” vision which is similar to a photograph.

Some people see visions superimposed over a body part or other natural object. I remember praying for a woman recently for healing. She did not tell me what was wrong with her body.

As I was praying for her, it was as if I could see inside her body. Yet, the vision was in my mind – similar I “saw” a shadow over her gall bladder. This was a “closed eye” vision.

I knew that the Holy Spirit was at work within her.

As I shared with her what I was “seeing”, she started to cry. She had declined gall bladder surgery earlier that day. She took this as a sign that God had healed her.

I encouraged her to have it checked out. Sometimes, God uses surgeons to heal us. Just because I “saw” the shadow didn’t mean she was healed. This was a type of “snapshot” vision.

Visions were very common in the first century church and still are today.

Inner voice (1 Kings 19:11-13).

An appearance/apparition (Luke 1:11)

Angelic visitation (Heb 13:2). This was so common that when the church was praying for Peter’s release from prison, God sent an angel to free him. When Peter arrived at the house they were praying in, he knocked on the door. A young girl named Rhoda answered the door. Rhoda was so startled to see Peter, she slammed the door in his face and ran inside to tell the adults. The adults told Rhoda that it must have been Peter’s angel! That’s how common angelic visitations were in the church – and still will come through your Joseph Gate – if only you will believe.

Key: Favor Comes Through Your Joseph GatePerhaps your dreams have been buried under the criticism that came from family, friends, bankers, others. They may be lost or forgotten. The good news is that God still dreams them with you. He still believes in you and endows you with favor. If your dream is dead, don’t worry. Our God is in the resurrection business.

God speaks life over your dreams. This is what God has to say about you today…

“I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,” declares the Lord, “and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.” (Jer 29:10-14).

The second thing that defined Joseph’s life – that came to him through his Joseph Gate, was FAVOR. His life was marked by it. This favor was a gift of God and started when he was born.

Did you ever notice that Joseph’s father loved him more than his other children (Gen. 37:3)? Joseph rose to prominence in Potiphar’s house, jail and eventually was second only to Pharaoh in all of Egypt!

These were not random incidents; they were God’s plan for his life which came about through The Joseph Gate.

Purpose of The Joseph Gate Web SiteRecently, my Joseph Gate was open and God was speaking. You see, He began speaking to me about this over a year before I started. Now, He was forming an outline of His plan.

God informed me that He had planted dreams in millions of people all around the world. These dreams had died and He was about to resurrect them. He told me to be ready for a flood of such people who needed guidance.

A couple of weeks before this writing, I had a Joseph gate experience. This time it was a dream. In this dream, I was in a huge warehouse full of doors. The doors were hanging from the ceiling in long rows – too numerous to count.

When I awoke, I knew that God was showing me thousands upon thousands of doors (Joseph Gates) which were waiting to be claimed by their owners. He would use me to deliver your Joseph Gate (door) and teach you how to open it.

A few nights ago, while I was praying, I had a vision. In the vision I was back in the warehouse. This time, the doors were systematically moving in rows. They would drop to the earth one-by-one.

As each one hit the ground, someone knelt before it and the door opened to a light too brilliant to see through. The person then rose and walked through the door (Joseph Gate) into the light.

Then the process repeated itself. There seemed to be no end to the supply of doors or people…

Perhaps you are one of those people looking to connect with God in a direct way.

The Joseph Gate is dedicated to help you understand the language of the Spirit of God; to reveal to you your unique gate to heaven - and to

encourage you to fulfill your destiny in God. Let me be the first to stand in agreement with you for the fulfillment of your dreams. Together, let’s explore God’s kingdom through the gates only He can provide and find purpose, fulfillment and success.

Keep in mind, there will be obstacles. Joseph faced many serious ones. He was tossed into a pit, sold into slavery and thrown into jail unjustly. Yet, his dreams lived and he overcame. Remember the promises of Jesus are to those who overcome such opposition.

You may be one of the people God was talking to me about. Here’s how you will know:

● God gave you a dream (maybe many) which lies buried. Yet, deep in your soul, you can’t let it go.

You sense it is time to raise the dream up, but don’t know how.

Your dream has to do with your purpose, specifically your vocation.

Your dream is about starting a business, but you don’t know where to begin. Perhaps, like Joseph, you want to manage someone else’s business, but need guidance.

You know that your dream will bring financial freedom – the freedom to provide for your family and sow into the Kingdom of God.

Your dream may require the help of others.

If these sound like your dream, then membership may be for you.

The good news is that you are not alone. I am there with you, as well as countless others who will join us on this journey through The Joseph Gate!
