OVERALL LIMITATIONS

Government guidelines request that processing of post-census amendments is restricted to a two year timeframe, this timeframe is reduced to one year if the student deferred their fees for the related unit.Note: if the student status code in the Study Plan screen is 201 for a Commonwealth Supported Place or 230-233 for Full Fee Paying, then the student has deferred their fees.

UTAS ERROR ADDITION

There are strict rules around retrospectively adding units, which include the adequate provision for fees and a submission of a valid CAF (Commonwealth Assistance Form) for the course.

NON-UTAS ERROREarly Withdrawal

Units should not be retrospectively withdrawn through the Post Census Enrolment Amendment process where a UTAS error has not occurred.

If the student is being granted a University Initiated Withdrawal without Academic Penalty, this will need to go through the UIWW process.
