Skits tell a story, with simple dialogue, typically with a moral.

OUTLINE SUGGESTION: Skits contain a moral that is imparted to an audience. This idea guides the

writing of a skit. Your moral is LET IT GO. Write one sentence that describes the opening of the skit. This should

describe what the protagonist is seeking or experiencing as the skit opens. Write a second sentence that describes the event that will lead her toward

the final part of the skit. This could be meeting a character that tempts her to do something wrong or finding an object and deciding what to do with it.

Write a third sentence describing the outcome of the decision the protagonist is required to make and a brief sentence or two that describes the message you wish the audience to receive.

Skit Presentations will begin on Friday. You will draw for your spot in the line-up.HAVE FUN!
