1. Wake up around 6.00 am. Complete early chores, select and follow one activity mentioned below during the vacation.

1. Fresh up after the activity, have breakfast, relax for an hour by watching cartoon with English subtitles / BBC News / Geographical Channel / an English Movie (age appropriate)

Solve the following.

1. A boy riding a bicycle covers a distance of 10 m in 40 s. What is the speed of the boy?

2. A bus takes 30 minutes to travel a distance of 25 Kilometres. Calculate the speed of the bus in km/hr.

3.The speed of a racing car is 60 m/s. What will this speed be in km/hr.

4.A train having a speed of 75 km/hr takes 6 hours to travel from Delhi to Amritsar. Calculate the distance between Delhi and Amritsar.

5.The distance between two stations is 240 km. A train takes 4 hours to cover this distance. Calculate the speed of the train.

6. In an experiment to measure the speed of a moving ball, it is observed that the ball covers a distance of 5m and 20 cm in 4 seconds before it comes to a stop. Calculate the speed of train in m/s.

7.A train is running at sped of 60 km/h . Calculate the speed of the train in m/s.

8.A car travelling at a speed of 45 km/h takes 20 minutes to reach its destination. What distance has the car travelled.

9.An ant covers 1 metre distance in 10 seconds. What is the speed of the ant in cm/s.

10. A car is running at a speed of 60 km/h. How much time will it take to cover a distance of 270 km?
