Cob Activity Calendar 9/9 – School Pictures 9/10 – Blood Drive 9/11 – JROTC 9/11 Ceremony 9/12 – ACT 9/15 – School Pictures 9/16 – SAC; College Night 9/17 – InterClub Council Mtg. Did You Know… The Computer Club, sponsored by Ms. Roberts, prepares students for competing in computer programming and cyber security contests. Students learn many programming languages, such as Pascal, Python, C++, and Java. They compete at various University campuses against students from all over the country. Three students make a team of programmers to solve from 9-12 programs. SkillsUSA, also led by Ms. Roberts, prepares students for competing in all subjects, from writing to math to web design to IT tech. Students compete in Regional and, if they win, students continue to compete in State, and, hopefully, National. Last year the Cobra earned the following - SkillsUSA State Computer Programming - 1st Place SkillsUSA National Computer Programming - 6th Place Cyber Patriot VII - 3rd Place Cyber Security team in world The Computer Club and Skills USA meet every Tuesday from 1:45 until 4pm in Room 4-218.
