Procedure:As part of our positive approach to behaviour management at Tokomaru School, Tokomaru Tamariki Tokens were introduced in 2016. They are called Triple T’s for short.

Triple T’s will be given out to children who nominate others or get caught displaying any one of our four core school values. The front of the TTT will be filled in with their name and what they did (to display the value).

Leaders can issue TTT’s where appropriate. If they are filled in by a child, they must then be signed on the back by their class teacher or the Principal (they cannot nominate themselves).

All completed tokens will go into the box at the office and a minimum of three will be drawn out at each weekly (Monday) assembly. Winners will be able to choose a prize from the Principal Prize Box.

Tokens: Each value is copied onto different coloured paper; Honesty - yellowRespect - redPerseverance – blueResponsibility – cream

Masters and spare copies are kept in the TTT folder in the staff workroom. Teachers will usually keep a pile of TTT’s in their classrooms, and the Principal will also keep a pile in the office. Relievers are encouraged to issue TTT’s also.
