Guidelines for the Author of the Journal Article of Edusentris (Scientific Journal of Education and Teaching) General Guidelines 1. The article is a result of author’s own thought and it has never been published or are being considered for publication in another journal. 2. The article is typed; 1.5 space; on A4 paper; Times New Roman 12pts; and number of pages is between 15-20 pages, including bibliography. 3. The whole article is written in Indonesian/Malay/English Language, except the title and the abstract written in both English and Indonesia. 4. Authors should refer to the writing procedures of Edusentris (Scienctific Journal of Education and Teaching). 5. The author should include a statement that the article he wrote is free from plagiarism. 6. General Guidelines1. The article is a result of author’s own thought and it has never been published or are being

The Title of Article: The title should be in English and Indonesia; Times New Roman 14pts; single space; not exceeding 14 words; in capital letters and bold. The Subtitle (if any) should be

Times New Roman 12pts in a parenthesis. Each of the initial letters of the words in the subtitle should be written in capital letters except for conjunctions and prepositions.

The author’s name should be without a title; Times New Roman 12pts, bold. The institution name and e-mail address should be Times New Roman 10pts, italics.

Institution name and email addresses: If the article is written by more than one person who comes from the same institution, the institution name is written only one time. If it is written by more than one person who comes from a different institution, the name of all institutions should be listed.

Abstract should be written in English and Indonesia. It should describe in full the essence of the research or the theoretical study, briefly covering the background and the purposes of research or writing, methods, and research results. The abstract should be between 150-200 words; single space; and 12pts font. The English-language abstract should be abstract in italics.

The keywords should be written with Times New Roman 10 pts; and lower case. There should be 5 (five) words maximum. The keywords that are written in English should be in italics. The keywords should refer to the title of the article.

Heading is headline for each section in a journal article (e.g. introduction, methods/subtitles, results, discussion, and conclusions). All headings should be written with Times New Roman 12pts. Each of the initial letters of the words in the heading should be written in capital letters, not numbered, bold, and on the left position. If there are subtitles of headings, they should be numbered and arranged in the following order: 1,2,3; 1), 2), 3); (1), (2), (3); a b c

Writing text should be written with Times New Roman 12pts and 1.5 space. The beginning of each paragraph should be indented. The first appearance of an abbreviation or an acronym should be followed by the words they stand for. Next, the abbreviation/acronym should be written alone. Latin writing should be in italic. Numbers from zero to nine should be written in words. If a table or a figure is cited, it should be written with initial capital letters. Example: Table 3, Figure 3.

Introduction contains issues, concepts, or results of previous studies, that are the basis of the research or the theoretical study. It also should explain the background and the significance of the research. At the end of the introduction, the purpose of the research, or the writing, should be explained.

Methods should explain the stages of the research clearly and in-detail, including methods and research design and instrument or measuring instruments used. Exclusively, the article that is based on theoretical study contains sub-headings (the number of sub-headings is tailored to the needs).

Results and Discussion provides information on the research’s findings and results. The data of study can be presented in table, figure, or graphic that is captioned. The table instruction is explained in another part. In this section, a discussion that explains the link between the results

of research to the theory, the research objectives, as well as comparisons with other studies that have been published should be made. The discussion should also explain the implications of the findings or contribution to science.

Conclusions and Recommendations provide a summary of the research results briefly, accompanied by suggestions for further research or readers in general.

Acknowledgements are addressed to parties who helped the research (e.g. reviewers of the script or providers of research funding).

References only list sources that are really cited in the text and vice versa. References are written sequentially and alphabetically by following the procedure of writing.

prepositions. Sufficient information should be provided under the table. The title of the table should be written before the table and placed in the center. The following is an example of table.
