LI: I can use boastful language in a persuasion letter.

I have uploaded our model text to the blog and google classroom.

On google classroom I would like you to innovate our model text based on plastic pollution. Use the information text from Tuesday’s comprehension to gather your ideas. Find the assignment from yesterday and write on the same document, underneath your last piece of work, today’s date and LI. The same document will be used continually throughout the week as one working document.

You need to include the features of a persuasion letter: topic sentence introducing the reader to that paragraph and boastful language.

Use the uploaded word bank to help you use boastful language within your next paragraph.

Think of your main point for this paragraph and write it. The topic sentence should include this point then you should carry on the paragraph by giving reasons to back up this point of your argument.

For those that are struggling with gathering their ideas here is a model boxing up plan of the second paragraph to help you. Add in some more facts and put these ideas into full sentences. Use our model text as a guide for how much to write. Only write you first point.

If you want to do some more research to add to your points that would be fantastic!

Topic- 30 minutes

Continue with your model plant. See how many different materials you can include within your sculpture. If you finish, create a fact file about your chosen plant: Where can it be found? What does it look like? Special features.
