We'll be praying about our next Misson Action Plan in the light of our continuing commitment to Jesus' great commission to "be and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19). SUNDAY 10 th JUNE CHURCH PICNIC - we are hoping to have a picnic for members of all three churches at the Cricket Pavillion in East Dean. More details to follow from Freddie Strong. THURSDAY 21 st JUNE ANDREW SPEAR to be made Associate Vicar of East Dean, Friston and Jevington. We are delighted to announce that it is possible (due to his age, or rather lack of it!) for Andrew to be made Associate Vicar. The Licensing Service will be at East Dean Church with one of the Bishops. SATURDAY 30 th JUNE CMS GARDEN PARTY Summer is almost here, and it is time again for the CMS Garden Party. This year it will be held at the home of Sandy Snellgrove, 2 Wayside, East Dean, from 2 - 4.30 pm at a cost £3 to include a cream tea. We hope to have live music and a sunny afternoon! We would please, like items for the stalls, such as craft or unwanted gifts items, books, CDs DVDs, raffle prizes, and plants, Good quality clothing, Clean 1lb or less jam jars for Brian. Jevington Church would like items for their Bottle Stall; anything from champagne to shampoo! There will be the usual box at the back of the church for donations. For more information ring Lynn on 422142.
