Organizing our Organs

Directions: Watch the video linked below for a brief explanation about Cells, Tissues, Organs, and Organ Systems. Then, follow the assignment guidelines below to make your own Organ-ized Google Slides project!

The project: Create a 5-slide slideshow about an organ in the human body.

Using Youtube, google, or other resources that you have, create a 5-slide presentation. Be sure to include ALL of the information below for each of your slides.

Slide 1: My Organ:

On this slide, include:

1. Organ name

2. Your name

3. Picture of your organ

Slide 2: Extra-organary!

On this slide, include:

1. What your organ does for the body

2. Where in the body this organ is located (head, belly, chest, leg, etc).

3. An anatomical diagram of your organ (examples included below). Anatomical here means a cross-section to see what is inside.

In this slide, include:

1. What Organ system is your organ a part of? (It can be more than one!)

2. What does this organ system do for the body? (This is NOT the same as what your organ does. The liver filters out toxins and secretes bile for the Digestive system, but the Digestive system’s function is to process, break down, and absorb food!)
