ScholarshipsThe Maryland Alumni Association is committed to supporting excellence by providing scholarship opportunities. Membership in the University of Virginia Alumni Association supports a broad array of programs that benefit the University, current students and alumni. What’s the difference between student, annual and life memberships?Student Life members pay no dues while in school. Upon graduation the student will be placed on the Life Installment plan. Cost of this plan is $500. Student Life members have the option to become a paid-in-full member at the cost of $400 (saving $100).
Annual Members pay dues each year, life members make either one lump-sum payment or fulfill their dues over a payment plan period.

Awards: The Alumni Association sponsors and supports a number of awards including the Honorary Alumni Award, Alumni Fellow Award, Alumni Achievement Award,
Diversity Award, Friend of Penn State legislative award, the Recent Alumna/Alumnus Award, and others. More information on awards is available here.
Parents & Families Weekend: Special days filled with college open houses, information, and fun are planned especially for parents and families of current students.
Events:The Alumni Association sponsors events as varied as Penn State's 557,311 living alumni:Fall events include pep rallies, Huddle with the Faculty before home games, and Homecoming Weekend; Summer events include Traditional Reunion Weekend for classes celebrating 45th and 50th reunions as well as Pioneers, and Arts Festival Alumni Weekend.
