Word Study Writing Math Geography and Science
tudentsStudents will have their next word study quiz on Friday, December 20th.
Students will continue to write about the family recipes, stories, etc.
o We will continue our fractions unit this week. This week students will learn how to add and subtract fractions with like and unlike denominators. There will be a quiz on Tuesday, December 17th.
o Students will continue to learn about the Southeast region of the United States, and will complete a “Boat and Bus Tour” of the Southeast.
o Students will review everything that they have learned about rocks and minerals during the rock unit. They will receive their study guide this week, Students will have their Rock Unit test on Thursday, December 19th.

Notes from the teachers:I hope everybody enjoyed their snow
days! Due to the shortened week, students will not have their normal quizzes this Friday. The normal Friday quizzes will resume next week.
The Southeast States and Capitals quiz has been pushed back one day to give the students an extra night to study. Their quiz will be this Friday, December 13th.
