The brief is designed to develop and test these skills. You will have the opportunity to approach this project from a strictly musical standpoint, or experiment with more abstract methods and sound design techniques. Project Brief: Using two found objects (This could two bits of metal, wood, children’s toy, but must have a musical pitch but not a musical instrument) as your starting point you are required to create following products 1. One song Completed a song written and performed by me. 2. The sound for a given short movie including a sound track Completed the Sound Design but NOT a Soundtrack. All work will be evidenced in WordPress and Sound Cloud I’ve taken Screenshots and Videos displaying Evidence. Rationale

Music is a creative force and relies on good ideas, process, skills and application. The brief is designed to develop and test these skills. Support this with experimental recordings if required. You may wish to try ideas before planning.

Proposals: Complete a proposal using the UAL paper work, which shows Harvard Referencing that makes reference to the contextual influence,I have shown a list of Web references which I stated whether I used or dismissed explaining why. both musical and technical,I have used Musical Language and Studio Techniques to backup my work. on your ideas. You should ensure you identify and explain your intended audience for each product.I haven’t gone into detail about the intended audience both products are for.

Pitch: You will prepare and deliver a 10-minute pitch to a staff & peers panel for your product showing your ideas and demonstrating how research has influenced your intended approach.Haven’t completed yet.

Planning documentation should include details of pre-production, production and post-production planning. Audience research, resources and equipment, time against planned activity, legal and contractual paper work should be provided for each product

Product: You should produce a product of good quality that demonstrate skills in Logic and studio production, and that have been mixed and mastered to appropriate standards

Weekly Research & Reflection: You are required to demonstrate how you have used research and reflection to inform and develop your creative, technical and planning ideas. You should discuss how and why this has developed within the process of making your product. Include audio, photos and screen shots in your reflection to evidence your thought processes and add to your bibliography throughout the process. Make sure your research and reflection informs your work.

Formal presentation of product. You are required to formally present your final products to a panel of staff and to your peer group, who will critique your work. You should ensure you identify and explain your intended audience during the pitch.
