‘Where The Wild Things Are’ Monday 1 June to Friday 5 June 2020. Challenge 1: Play the imaginary creatures description game – click the link below. Take it in turns as a family to describe a creature for the rest of your family to identify. You might need to model this before you begin as it shows what a good question would be to ask. Challenge 2: Draw around your body to create a template of a ‘wild thing’. See the pictures below to help inspire you and give you some ideas of how you could draw your ‘wild thing’! Extension: Place your ‘wild thing’ around the house, can you play a game of hide and seek? Why not hide it in the local village? Take a picture of where Challenge 4: Lead the children in their own ‘wild rumpus’! Encourage them to explore different ways of moving to represent Max and the wild thing creatures as they move and dance. Why not find some loud Challenge 3: Make some simple biscuits and encourage them to decorate them to look like a ‘wild thing’! Challenge 1:

Play the imaginary creatures description game – click the link below. Take it in turns as a family to describe a creature for the rest of your family to identify. You might need to model this before you begin as it shows what a good question would be to ask.

Challenge 2:
