Dear Parent/Guardian

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks manages, maintains and develops the electricity networks which bring power to every home and business in the north of Scotland and central southern England.

We work hard to ensure our networks are as reliable as possible but when extreme weather causes damage or faults occur, our teams go the extra mile to restore power as quickly as possible and ensure vulnerable customers are protected.

Here are some of our additional services that may be helpful for you and your family:

Priority ServicesOur free priority services are for customers that may need extra help in the event of a power cut. You can join our Priority Services Register if you have children under 5, are over 60, or have additional communication or medical needs.

To register yourself, or someone you think would benefit, call us on 0800 294 3259 to discuss your requirements or visit www.ssen.co.uk/priorityservices.

Freephone national power emergencies number 105105 is the free national helpline for reporting power cuts and emergencies. Make a note of 105 so we can help you if there’s a power outage in your area.
