Year: 6 Week beginning: 04.05.2020 Work to be undertaken at home over the course of this week. Each day will consist of one English activity, one Maths activity and other tasks that should be completed during the week. Teacher’s Instructions: Bonjour Classe 6, I hope you’ve all had a good week and that you are all keeping well. This is now the third week of the Summer and we would normally be revising for the Sats next week, but this week will be a quite a bit different. I have quite a few thing to let you know, so please read the following carefully. 1. Look at the ‘Writing Tasks List’, these are pieces of writing are for you to complete in your own time. They will be on top of your usual daily activities. You DO NOT have to complete all of the tasks at once, pace yourselves (maybe one a week). Once you have completed one of the tasks tick and date the list to keep track of what you have done. You can print it out, tick on the word document itself or even copy the list in your green book. 2. Look at ‘Pupil Review of the year questionnaire’, this is a VERY IMPORTANT document which I will use to write your end of year reports. Therefore I would like you to fill this in and email this to me by the end of the week (even before if you can). I will also email this to you all. 3. Complete your daily English (Benin work – Dynasty), Maths (Perimeters, Areas and Volume) and exercise activities as well as your RE and foundation subjects activities. Make sure you also revise your spellings (test yourself 10 random words a day) 4. Enjoy your time with your loved ones and make sure that you do things together! Have a lovely week Y6 and keep safe. When Peter heard the ‘cock crow’ three times he remembered what Jesus had said to him at his farewell. Peter wanted to go with Jesus wherever he was going. He even said:“Why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.“Lay down your life for me?” answered Jesus. “I tell you most solemnly, before the cock crows you will have disowned me three times.”

Now Peter had seen his Lord and Master condemned to death and he had done nothing to help him. Peter told the maidservants that he didn’t even know Jesus.
