Two Sensational Murder cases solved – One Blind Double murder of PS Chhawla and another of PS Najafgarh.

Two sophisticated weapons and one country made pistol alongwith 16 live cartridges recovered.
Maruti Van, Wagon-R Car and Scooter seized. 6 mobile phones and sim cards seized.
(A) Brief facts of the Blind Double Murder Case of PS Chhawla
On 20.12.2010 at about 08:30 pm, Suresh and his brother Satender both
s/o Munni Lal r/o Village Papravat, Delhi having business of copper wire and
winding shop in Mayapuri left their shop for their residence, alongwith Varun s/o
Chander Bhan Sharma r/o Village Papravat a Constable in Delhi Police, Delhi in
Maruti Wagon-R car No. DL8C K 1307. At about 09:30 pm, when they reached
near Rao Maan Singh School, Papravat Road, Najafgarh, Delhi, three persons
on a m/cycle, intercepted their Wagon-R car. Two persons got down of the
m/cycle and covered the Wagon-R car from both sides and shot dead Suresh
who was driving the car and his brother Satender who was sitting on front seat of
the car. After this, all the three persons fled away on the same m/cycle. On this,
a case of Murder and Arms Act was registered at PS Chhawla, Delhi. This
incident resulted in protests by the residents of the area. On this, the case was
transferred to Crime Branch.
(B) Constitution of Team and identification of those involved
A team of around 50 dedicated police officials of Crime Branch
headed by ACP Ravi Shanker and consisting of Inspr. Virender Dalal, Insp. P.C.
Khanduri, Insp. Suresh Kumar & Insp. Sandeep Malhotra, Sub-Inspr. Naresh
Sharma, SI Arun Nehra, SI Ramesh Sharma, SI Harbir Singh, SI Parmod Tomar,
SI R. Sri Niwasan, SI Ranbir, ASI Jagat Kumar, ASI Rajbir Singh and other
police personnel was formed to workout the case. The teams started working
meticulously and visited the scene of crime, made local enquiries and
ascertained the background of the deceased persons. Sources were also
deployed in the area of PS Chhawla and Najafgarh. Hard work , sincere and
dedicated efforts of the team bore some fruits when during investigation a
reliable information was received that Naveen Khati @ Pehalwan (aged 35
years), Arvind @ Bindu (aged 34 years), Naresh @ Neshi (aged 32 years), Vijay
@ Bhattu (aged 22 years), Vikash @ Titu (aged 22 years), Sandeep @ Dedu
(aged 24 years) all resident of Village Mitraon, Delhi and Vikas @ Medium (aged
21 years) r/o New Gopal Nagar, Najafgarh, Delhi and Naresh @ Titte (aged 32
years) r/o Village Dinpur, Delhi were involved in this double murder.
(C) Murder case of PS Najafgarh
It further transpired that Naveen Khati, Arvind @ Bindu, Vikas @
Medium and Naresh @ Neshi were also involved in the murder case of one
Pardeep Kumar @ PK registered at PS Najafgarh. On 13.09.2010 at about 10
pm at Balmiki Chowk, Mitraon Village, they shot dead Pradeep Kumar @ PK as
there existed previous enmity. Since then all of them were absconding.
(1) Concerted Efforts
A massive man hunt was lodged to trace and apprehend the
perpetrators of the murder. Initially, information was received that Naveen,
Vikas @ Medium and Vijay @ Bhattu had gone to Haridwar. Immediately on
25.12.2010, a team was sent to Haridwar to trace the accused persons. Hotels,
lodges and Dharamshalas were checked for three days and finally two
hotels/lodges were traced where their stay was established. But it was revealed
that they had left the hotels on 24.12.2010. On the other hand on 28.12.2010,
the team who was tracing the movements of the other gang members in Delhi
traced the movements of Vikash @ Titu and Sandeep @ Dedu in Village
Mitraon. They were arrested from there and subsequently on their interrogation
Naresh @ Tite was arrested from Kapashera. The van used for transportation of
the gang members and the Scooter used for reccee was recovered and seized.
On 29.12.2010, reliable source revealed that Naveen Khati, Arvind @ Bindu,
Naresh @ Neshi and Vikash @ Medium were staying somewhere in Agra and
Shikohabad UP. Immediately teams were sent to Agra and Shikohabad where
also a massive exercise of Hotel checking was carried out. There also their stay
was confirmed in a Hotel but they had left the hotel one day before.
Subsequently, information was received that they have moved to Morena,
Dholpur, Shivpuri and Bhopal. Searches were conducted at the hotels and guest
houses in these places and their movements were traced to a hotel in Bhopal
but they had left. Information developed there on 22.01.2011, revealed that the
accused persons were short of money and have gone to Delhi/Gurgaon region
to collect the money from a sympathizer. The team immediately rushed back.
On 23.01.2011, a team headed by Insp. PC Khanduri traced the
movement of absconding persons and it was learnt that they would come in a
Wagon R car to Dwarka for collecting money from one of their sympathizer. On
receipt of the message, a team of Insp. Virender Dalal and Insp. Suresh Kumar
also moved. At about 09.30 pm, the wagon-R car was intercepted. Naveen Khati
@ Pahalwan, Vikash @ Medium and Arvind @ Bindu got out of the vehicle with
weapons in their hands. The Crime Branch team without caring for their lives
rushed at them and managed to apprehend and disarm them. Apart from them,
the other person Naresh @ Neshi was also apprehended. All carried a reward of
Rs. 50,000/- each for their arrest. Two sophisticated pistols, one country made
pistol, 16 live cartridges have been recovered. Meanwhile on 22.01.2011, South-
west District police apprehended Vijay Kumar @ Bhattu who also carried a
reward of Rs. 50000/- for his arrest.
Sensational Involvements of Navin Khati Gang
1. From the interrogation of accused persons it was revealed that in the
year 2005, accused Naveen Khati @ Pahalwan and Arvind @ Bindu
were hired by Smt. Veermati w/o Durgesh R/o Vill. Papravat, sister-in-
law of deceased Suresh and Satender to kill Virender @ Pappi as
there existed property dispute between Veermati and Virender @
Pappi. On 24.12.2005 Virender @ Pappi was shot dead. Naveen
Khati, Arvind, Ashok, Veermati and Neelam were arrested in the year
January 2006. Arvind @ Bindu, Naveen Khati, Neelam and Veermati
have been released on bail in this case.
2. After coming out of jail, Naveen Khati developed enmity with Pradeep
Kumar @ PK of village Mitaon, also a criminal over supremacy in the
area. On 12.09.2010, Naveen alongwith his associates Arvind @
Bindu, Vikash @ Medium and Naresh @ Neshi shot dead Pardeep
Kumar @ PK with a country made pistol at Balmiki Chowk, Village
Mitraon, Delhi. Since then, all the four accused persons were
absconding.
3. Naveen Khati also nursed a grudge against both the deceased
brothers Suresh Kumar & Satender. In 2007, Naveen Khati had come
out on interim bail and had taken Rs. 1.75 lakhs loan from Suresh
Kumar and in lieu as security, gave a cheque of his uncle Om Parkash
to him. As the accused Naveen could not pay the said loan, the
deceased filed a case u/s 138 Negotiable Instruments Act against his
uncle Om Parkash. On this Naveen sent a threatening letter from jail
through his cousin Naresh @ Neshi to deceased Suresh to withdraw
the case. But the deceased Suresh denied to withdraw the case and
started demanding his money back when Naveen came out from jail.
On this Naveen again threatened the deceased who did not pay any
heed to his threats. On this Naveen alongwith his associates Arvind @
Bindu, Vikas @ Medium, Naresh @ Neshi, Vijay @ Bhattu, Vikas @
Teetu, Naresh @ Titte, Sandeep @ Dheddu and Kanish @ Polu
entered into a conspiracy to eliminate Suresh and his brother Satender
@Leelu. On 20.12.2010, on the directions of Naveen Khati @
Pahalwan Vikas @ Titu and Naresh @ Tite followed Suresh and
Satender from Mayapuri on a scooter and passed information about
their movements to Naveen. On this Naveen alongwtih his associates
Arvind @ Bindu, Vikas @ Medium,Naresh @ Neshi, Vijay @ Bhattu
and Sandeep @ Dedu reached at Khatkadi Nahar, near Papravat in
Maruti van and on a pulsar motorcycle. From there Naveen, Vikas @
Medium and Vijay @ Bhattu on the pulsar motorcycle reached at
Papravat Road and intercepted the wagon R car of the brothers near
Rao Man Singh School, Papravat Road. Vikash @ Medium and Vijay
@ Bhattu opened fire on both the brothers with sophisticated weapons
and shot them dead and then fled away on the same motorcycle.
Recoveries
1. Two sophisticated pistols.
2. One country made pistol.
3. 16 live cartridges.
4. One Maruti Wagon-R Car.
5. One Maruti Van
6. One Honda Eterno Scooter.
7. 6 Mobile phones and SIM Cards.
Profile of the accused persons:
1. NAVEEN @ Pahalwan (aged 35 years) S/o Radhey Sham born and
brought up in Village Mitraon, Delhi. After studying upto 10 th class, he
completed ITI diploma in Electronics. He is involved in more than 6
criminal cases of murder, planning to commit dacoity and theft of Delhi.
He is the leader of the gang.
2. VIKASH @ MEDIUM @ HUNNY (aged 24 years) s/o Suraj Bhan r/o H.No.
RZ-45C, New Gopal Nagar, Najafgarh, Delhi was born at Vill. Kheri, Near
Badli, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana. In 2000, his family shifted to Najafgarh,
Delhi. He passed 12th from Open School, Delhi and pursuing Diploma in
Engg. from PDM Engineering College, Bahadurgarh. His father is serving
as Engineer in Kuwait while his brother is Bsc. In Information Technology.
Then he came in touch with Naveen Pehalwan and joined his gang.
3. ARVIND @ BINDU (aged 32 years) s/o Virender Singh was born at
Village Mitraon, Delhi in 1972. After completing 10th class from open
school, he joined Naveen@ Pahalwan gang.
4. NARESH @ NESHI (aged 30 years) s/o Mahender r/o H.No. 559, Village
Mitraon, Delhi is a cousin of Naresh @ Pahalwan and a class 10 th drop
out. In 1995, he was arrested at Hissar for planning to commit dacoity and
theft. In Feb. 2000, he alongwith his associates tried to escape from
Hissar jail. His associates succeeded in escaping but he could not flee
from jail. After coming out of the jail in 2002, he started working as driver
in Call Centre and joined Naveen @ Pehalwan gang.
5. NARESH @ TITE, (aged 32 years) s/o Duli Chand was born in Village
Dinpur, Opposite Radha Swami Satsang, PS Chhawla, Delhi. He is school
dropout and Bad Character of PS Chhawla and previously involved in
more than 8 criminal cases of dacoity, robbery and arms act.
6. VIKASH @ TITTU, (aged 22 years) s/o Ram Avtar also hails from Village
Mitraon, Delhi. He is also school dropout and was presently working in his
uncle’s saloon in Najafgarh as barber. He got influenced by the lifestyle of
Naveen Khati @ Pahalwan and joined his gang.
7. SANDEEP @ DHEDDU, (aged 24 years) s/o s/o Jagbir Singh @ Kala is
also resident of Village Mitraon, Delhi. He studied upto 12 th standard in his
village and is serving as a Sepoy in Customs & Central Excise
Department, Delhi.

GANG OF NOTORIOUS CAR JACKERS ARRESTED
Joint team of Anti Auto Theft Squad & PS Dwarka South has busted a gang of notorious car jackers and arrested two car jackers namely Madan Bahadur @ Nepali and Surender Bisht @ Sanju , who have committed number of car jacking in the area of South-West District and West District.
NAME AND PROFILE OF ARRESTED ACCUSED:
1. Madan Bahadur @ Nepali s/o Khem Chand Bahadur r/o Jhuggi Shastri Park, Nanak Pura, New Delhi Age 23 years.He used to work as helper in TATA Tempo and was arrested in a case of murder in the year 2006 at PS R.K Puram. He has come out of jail after spending 3 ½ years in the jail.
2. Surender Singh Bisht @ Ajit Gupta @ Sanju s/o Puran Singh Bisht r/o Yuri Enclave, Delhi Cantt., New Delhi, Aged 25 years.He has studied upto 10th class and worked earlier as Pantry boy in Air Tel. He was first arrested in the year 2004 for keeping a stolen motor cycle at PS Sadar Bazar.
PROPERTY RECOVERED:
01 Black Berry Mobile Phone, 01 Esprit Wrist Watch, 01 Black Pulser Motor Cycle03 Abandoned cars (Indica, Esteem & Swift) already recovered
INFORMATION AND OPERATION
SOUTH WEST DISTT.
On 04.01.2011 night, a PCR call was received at PS Dwarka South regarding taking away of the car from Red Light of Sector-1 & 2/Dwarka, New Delhi. This call was marked to ASI Dharam Pal who reached on the spot and met with complainant Pankaj Kumar s/o Shashi Bhushan Pandey r/o DDA Flats, Sector-3, Dwarka. The complainant stated that while he was going to duty from his house at about 11.15 PM, when he reached at Red Light of Sector-1/2 Dwarka, two persons got down from Esteem Car and opened the side door of his car, got him outside and took away his Santro Car. On his statement, a case vide FIR No. 4/11 dated 05.01.2011 PS Dwarka South was registered.
Keeping in view, the sensitive nature of the case, teams of local police as well as AATS/South-West was deployed to collect information about the culprits involved in this incident. Criminals intelligence was collected and sources were deployed to identify the culprits. On 23.01.2011, specific information was received to Inspr. AATS/SW that the criminal involved in the above said incident will be coming to Sitapuri. On this information, joint team of Inspr.AATS/SW and Police Station/Dwaka South was constituted under the supervision of Inspector AATS/SW & Insp. Nirmal Kumar Jha ATO PS Dwarka South comprising of HC Paramjeet, Ct. Rajesh, Ct. Jitender and Ct. Banwari Lal. A trap was laid near PCO Booth in Sitapuri and on the pointing out of informer, one person was apprehended who was later on identified as Madan Bahadur @ Nepali s/o Khem Chand. On interrogation, he confessed his involvement in the above said incident. On his pointing out, further raid was conducted and another accused Surender Singh Bisht @ Sanju was apprehended from a house in Sitapuri. He also confessed his involvement in the said case. On their pointing out, one Wrist Watch, one Black Berry Mobile Phone and Motorcycle Black Pulsar being used in the crime were recovered.
INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI:
During interrogation, accused Surender Singh Bisht disclosed that he has earlier worked in Airtel company as pantry boy. He developed friendship with one lady residing in his neighbourhood as her husband has left her. Subsequently he got friendly with another girl resident of Kirti Nagar. He was in need of money to spend on his girlfriend and to lead a lavish lifestyle. To earn quick and easy money he came in contact with another criminal of Dhaula Kuan who has got previous involvements. They made a gang and started committing car robberies. On the day of incident i.e on 04.01.2011, above two accused persons alongwith their associates were traveling in a robbed Esteem Car from the area of PS Uttam Nagar. When they reached near Red Light of Sector-1/2 Dwarka, two of the accused persons got down from the Esteem Car and forcibly took away the Santro Car of the complainant. However, the robbed Santro car was recovered by Haryana Police while it was being driven by accused person Rohit @ Manoranjan.
The arrested criminals are so desperate that after committing the crime at Red Light of Sector-1/2 Dwarka, they have committed another robbery in the area of PS Hari Nagar where they have robbed one Dilpreet Singh Grover who has come out after withdrawal of money from ATM at Gate No.3, Tihar Jail on the same night. They have robbed his Maruti Swift Car, cash, Black Berry Mobile Phone, wrist watch and other items on gun point. While going towards Hari Nagar after committing crime at Red Light of Sector-1/2 Dwarka, the Esteem Car met with an accident at Kirbi Place, Delhi Cantt. They abandoned the Esteem Car and left in the Santro Car. The incident at Hari Nagar was committed in the Santro Car. Thereafter, while they were going towards Aligarh, UP in the robbed Swift car, it also met with an accident on the outskirts of Aligarh. They abandoned the Swift car which was deposited in the local police station and brought back to Delhi by PS Hari Nagar. Robbed wrist watch and Black Berry Mobile Phone in the incident of Hari Nagar has been recovered at the pointing out of the accused persons.
During interrogation, it is also learnt that they have snatched one Honda City Car from D Block, Janak Puri in the area of PS Maya Puri in the month of December, 2010. They have sold this vehicle to one of their friend. Efforts are being made to recover this car. The accused persons have also disclosed about another incident in the month of November,2010 near Power House Sector-2, Dwarka, New Delhi. In this case, Indica car was taken away but subsequently, the accused persons found that the car was old one and will not fetch much money, they abandoned the vehicle in Sector-7, Dwarka, New Delhi which was seized by the police subsequently.
The accused persons has also disclosed about robbing of one Red Pulsar in the beginning of November, 2010 in the area of PS Delhi Cantt. This motor cycle is being used by absconding accused. Efforts are being made to recover the absconding accused as well as to recover the said motorcycle.

MURDER ACCUSED ARRESTED

With the arrest of accused Lalita w/o Pardeshi and Amrish, PS Inder Puri has solved a murder case where in a dead body of one Pardeshi s/o Ram Lal, a watchman was found in a water filled ditch on 19.01.2010 at under construction building of Government Sarovdaya School, C Block, Inderpuri .
NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS
1. Lalita w/o Pardeshi R/O VPO-Rohina, Distt. Raipur, Chhatisgarh, Age, 35 years, She is working as labourer at under construction building of Government Sarvodaya School, C-Block, Inder Puri and residing in temporary huts.
2. Amrish Dass s/o Late Sh. Jogeshwar Dass, R/o Village Purshottam Pur Tera, Distt. Samastipur, Bihar, Age-30 years.He is working as masion at under construction building of Government Sarvodaya School, C-Block, Inder Puri and residing in temporary huts.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION
On 19.01.2011, information was received that one Pardeshi s/o Ram Lal, Age-40 years had died after falling into a water filled ditch in Capt. Amit Verma Government Sarvodaya School, C-Block, Inder Puri. SHO alongwith staff reached at the spot. The deceased was working as a watchman at the construction site of Capt. Amit Verma Government Sarvodaya School, C-Block, Inder Puri. He was on duty of watchman during night time. Initially it was told that the deceased was found dead in the water filled ditch on the back side of the under construction building. On the close inspection of the dead body it was noticed that there were some bruise marks on his neck. Dead body was sent to RML Hospital for postmortem. After postmortem the doctor opined the cause of death as homicide. A case vide FIR No. 10/11 u/s 302/201 IPC PS Inderpuri was registered in this regard. During investigation accused persons namely Lalita w/o deceased Pardesi and one Amrish Dass were arrested in this case. They have confessed of their involvement in this case.
INVESTIGATION
During enquiry, Lalita, wife of the deceased told the police that she has seen the deceased alive in the morning hours while he was on guard duty. Police got suspicious on her statement as the postmortem suggested that the deceased was killed in the night itself. During local enquiry from the other residents at the construction site it was revealed that Lalita w/o Pardeshi, the deceased has developed illicit relationship since last 4-5 months with Amrit Dass under whom she was working at the construction site. They knew each other for last 4-5 years as they have worked together earlier at another construction site in the area of Najafgarh. Amrit Dass was planning to elope with Lalita so they planned to get rid off her husband Pardesi. During the night of 18-19/01/2011, both of them killed Pardesi by strangulating him with a shawl and then dumped the body in the water ditch to give it a shape of accidental drowning. The mobile phone of the deceased was recovered from the jhuggi of accused Amrish.

BLIND MURDER CASE OF VASANT KUNJ WORKED OUT WITHIN 24 HOURS : BROTHER-IN-LAW AND TWO CONTRACT KILLERS ARRESTED: WEAPON OF OFFENCE, BLOOD STAINED CLOTHES, COUNTRY MADE PISTOL WITH CARTRIDGE AND CAR USED IN CRIME RECOVERED.
With the arrest of three accused persons, the South District Police has solved the gruesome murder of a youth who was found brutally killed in the Ridge of Rangpuri, New Delhi. Weapon of offence i.e. knife, blood stained clothes, country made pistol alongwith cartridge, mobile phone and car used in commission of crime have been recovered.

His in-laws family was very poor at the time of his marriage. From the start of the marriage, he started looking after his in-laws family too. He brought his brother-in-law deceased Sanjay Yadav to Delhi and took care of him. He got him educated and trained him as an electrician. He also got him married through his relations. He developed illicit relations with his sister-in-law. He had spent 2-3 lacs on his in-laws family for there upbringing and marriage of his brother-in-law. But since last one year as his brother-in-law started earning the entire family started neglecting him. Few months back, his brother-in-law and his sister-in-law with whom he had illicit relations from last many years had disrespected him. As he was looking after the family for many years and now due to his brother-in-laws’ job they started disrespecting him as well as his sister-in-law started avoiding him, he planned to teach them a lesson. Initially, he thought of getting him beaten and injured by fracturing his leg/arm but he could not succeed. His enhanced revenge led him to get his brother-in-law eliminated. Constable Neeraj while patrolling in his beat at Ridge Area Rangpuri Pahari found a dead body of a person age around 20/22 years lying in the ridge. The deceased was having multiple stab injuries on his body. The constable immediately informed the Police Station about the incident. SHO/PS Vasant Kunj South alongwith staff immediately reached the spot. On examination of body, it was found that the deceased was brutally injured with the sharp edged weapon at stomach, heart, arms and his neck was slit. A case vide FIR No.25/2011 U/s 302 IPC Dated 21.1.2011 PS Vasant Kunj South was got registered and investigation was carried out.
TEAM, INVESTIGATION & ARREST:
Keeping in view the gruesome murder of a youth, a team comprising Inspr. Ishwar Singh SHO/ Vasant Kunj South, Inspr. Gagan Bhaskar, Inspr. Jai Parkash, SIs Rajesh, Rajbir, ASI Ashwani, HCs Naresh, Yashpal, Kailash, Prabjit, Constables Arvind, Yash, Vinod, Neeraj, Gajanand, Vinod and Suraj under the supervision of Sh. Mohammad Ali, ACP/Vasant Vihar was constituted to solved this murder case. The officers were tasked to get the deceased identified and also look at various aspects of past life, contacts, activities and relations of the deceased.
The team so formed made sincere efforts to get the deceased identified and the efforts made by the police bore results and the deceased was identified as Sanjay Yadav S/o Sh. Ram Dulare Yadav R/o Yadav Enclave, Vikas Nagar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi. He was an electrician by profession and was presently working on a site in Pacific Mall, Subhash Nagar. The deceased was a resident of Uttam Nagar and working in Subhash Nagar, as such, his presence in the ridge area of Vasant Kunj was unusual. Further investigation from the person with whom he was working revealed that he left the Mall at 5 p.m. for Mahipalpur as being called for an interview by his brother-in-law.
The team so formed immediately tried to contact his brother-in-law Shyam Sunder, but he was not found present in his house. Rather, he tried to avoid the police party. Unceasing efforts of the police succeeded in tracing
him at Mahipalpur and he was interrogated at length. Initially, he tried to befool police, but on sustained interrogation he broke down and confessed his involvement in the murder. He disclosed that his in-laws family was very poor at the time of his marriage. From the start of the marriage, he started looking after his in-laws family too. He brought his brother-in-law deceased Sanjay Yadav to Delhi and took care of him. He got him educated and trained him as an electrician. He also got him married through his relations. During the past years, he developed illicit relations with his sister-in-law. He had spent 2-3 lacs on his in-laws family for there upbringing and marriage of his brother-in-law. But since last one year as his brother-in-law started earning the entire family started neglecting him. Few months back, his brother-in-law and his sister-in-law with whom he had illicit relations from last many years had disrespected him. As he was looking after the family for many years and now due to his brother-in-laws’ job they started disrespecting him as well as his sister-in-law started avoiding him, he planned to teach them a lesson. Initially, he thought of getting him beaten and injured by fracturing his leg/arm but he could not succeed. His enhanced revenge led him to get his brother-in-law eliminated hoping he will be valued and respected in the similar way as earlier and can continue his illicit relations with sister-in-law. He was so revengeful that he purchased a country made pistol to kill him. He tried to kill him but could not get the courage to do so.
He used to work as a driver with a travel company. Few days back, he came in contact with Mohd. Islam. Finding him a suitable choice, he shared his plan with him and offered Rs.1 lac to eliminate his brother-in-law. Working on the plan the alleged Mohd. Islam also got his relative Mohd.Kasim included in the plan. As per the plan, on 21.1.2011 Shayam Sunder called Sanjay Yadav to Mahipalpur for getting him a better job and he alongwith his associates Mohd. Islam and Mohd. Kasim waited for him in his car. When deceased Sanjay Yadav reached at Mahipalpur, they all took him to ridge area in Rangpuri where they stopped the car for relieving themselves and when deceased also got down they overpowered him and killed him with knife causing multiple injuries.
Immediate raids were carried out and the Mohd. Islam and Mohd Kasim were also arrested.

INCIDENT:-
With a view to keep a check on the incidents of Auto theft and to nab the criminals involved in auto lifting, the Operation Cell of North-West District was sensitized and vehicle checking has also been intensified in the area of North-West District. On 22.1.11, a secret information was received that three persons would come on a stolen
motor cycle near Nirankari Sant Samagam Road to dispose off the same. On this information a team of A.A.T.S. comprising of the officials mentioned below, laid a trap at Nirankari Sant Samagam Road and apprehended three youths with one motor cycle bearing No. DL-8SAC-8708 Black Colour Bajaj Pulsar stolen vide FIR No. 13/11, Dt. 14.01.11, U/S 379 IPC, P.S Jhangir Puri. Later on the youths were identified as (1) Salman @ Washim S/O Shakeel Ahmad R/O Jakir Colony, P.S Mussorie, Distt. Ghaziabad, U.P (2) Shyam Mohan Singh @ Lala S/O Karan Singh R/O Vill. Mudia Bash, P.S Pugayu, Distt. Shajaan Pur, U.P (3) Nissar S/O Nanai Kha R/O Vill. Mudia Bash, P.S Pugayu, Distt. Shajaan Pur, U.P. They were asked to produce papers of the said motor cycle which they could not produce. The engine and chasis numbers of the said vehicle were verified from AUTO MATCH and Traffic enquiry which revealed that the said vehicle is stolen vide FIR No. 13/11, Dt. 14.01.11, U/S 379 IPC, P.S Jhangir Puri, Delhi. Subsequently they were arrested in the said case.
2ND INCIDENT :
The Special Staff officials of North-West Distt. laid a trap on receipt of a secret information and apprehended the above mentioned accused persons near G & JU block Pitam Pura on 21.1.11 when they were found riding on a motor cycle which was later on found to be stolen from the area of PS Begum Pur vide case FIR No. 277/10 dated 15.9.10 u/s 379 IPC.
INTERROGATION:
In the first incident, the accused persons on sustained interrogation, revealed that they used to stole new Bikes from different parts of Delhi with their two more associates namely Akram & Husnain and then used to sell these stolen Bikes after preparing fake number plates of U.P Transport Authorities to young youths in U.P.
In the 2nd incident, the accused persons on sustained interrogation, revealed that they stole the bikes form different parts of Delhi with a motive to use these motor cycles for gold chain snatching. So far, the incidents of chain snatching in the area of West and South-West Districts are being verified.
INVESTIGATION :-
Accused Salman, Lala, Akram, Husnain and Nissar disclosed that they have committed a series of incidents of auto theft in the area of Delhi. They were aware that the young youths in the outskirts of U.P are fond off new Bikes, so they provide them the Bikes at low rates. Now it has become their profession to frequently come to Delhi at night and with the help of iron rod they break down the locks of the Bikes and fled away in Ghaziabad (UP) with stolen bikes. Thereafter, they change the number plates of the Bikes and dispose off these to the innocent purchasers.
During the course of investigation, nine (9) more stolen vehicles (Total 10) have been recovered at their instance from different parts of Delhi & Distt. Ghaziabad (UP).
During further investigation the accused Salman, Lala, Akram, Husnain & Nissar also disclosed that they are involved in more than 20 cases of auto thefts with other cases.
Investigation is being carried out for the recovery of remaining vehicles and instruments used for tampering the Number Plates.
In the 2nd incident, the accused persons revealed that they are involved in gold snatching cases and for this purpose they committed thefts on motor cycles so that these could be used for the purpose of chain snatching. Both these accused belong to Sansi community and are involved in five criminal cases each. The area of their operation is West and South-West Distt. The incidents of chain snatchings are being verified. Accused Suraj @ Bhola was found to be a Proclaimed Offender in case FIR No. 1137/03 dated 25.9.03 u/s 307/34 IPC PS Sultan Puri, Delhi.

First Gang

1. Salman is the gang leader and works as a Motor cycle mechanic. He is involved in four (4) criminal cases in Ghaziabad (UP). He is Wanted in Case FIR No. 428/10, u/s 2,3, Gangester Act, P.S Murad Nagar, U.P. and the UP Govt. has declared a reward for his arrest. He formed his own gang and recruited Lala, Akram, Husnain and Nissar in his gang. He started committing auto theft with the help of his gang members in the various area of Delhi.
2. Husnain is a school drop out and belongs to a poor family. He was associated with Salman and started committing theft with other associates of this gang.
3. Akram also belongs to a poor family and a middle school drop out. For some
time he worked on the shop of Recharge-Coupons, but he could not get enough money. He is already involved in three (3) criminal cases in UP and came in contact of Salman, Lala, Akram & started committing crime.
4. Lala is a school drop out and belongs to a poor family. He worked as a Auto-
Riksha driver in Delhi for some time, but later on became the member of Salman gnag.
5. Nissar is a school drop out and belongs to a poor family. Earlier he used to work
in a Gatta factory in Ghaziabad (UP) and was involved in petty thefts but later on he joined Salman gang and started committing crime in Delhi.

With the arrest of Mubark (23 years) s/o Jarsis Ahmed r/o Village Rajapur, Sector-9 Rohini, Delhi, the staff of PS Prashant Vihar solved two cases of snatching.
INCIDENT / BRIEF FACTS:
On 22-1-11, an information was received by HC Rakesh No. 155/OD that one boy who had committed snatching in Sectot-11, Rohini, Delhi a day before yesterday would come in a park near Balaji Mandir. In this regard, a team comprising SI Narender, HC Rakesh, HC Om Parkash and Ct Charan Singh was constituted and a trap was laid near Balaji Mandir. At about 4 pm, as soon as accused reached in the park, he was nabbed by the alert members of team. On enquiry, he revealed his identity as Mubark s/o Jarsis Ahmed r/o Village Rajapur, Sector-9 Rohini, Delhi. On his search, a piece of gold chain and a mobile phone was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, he was taken in police custody for further investigation.
INTERROGATION:
On interrogation, he disclosed that he alongwith his associate Kalu had snatched a chain from a lady in Sector-11 Rohini but only a piece of chain could remain in his grip and rest fell down at the spot. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 34/11 U/s 356/379/34 IPC PS Prashant Vihar was found to be registered. He further disclosed that he had also snatched a bag 4-5 month ago alongwith his associate Kalu. INCIDENT AND TEAM
On 18/01/2011, Sh Arani Basu s/o Sh P.K. Basu a resident of Jawahar Nagar, Delhi
reported that on 12/01/2011, while he weas going towards his room, at Malka Ganj Red
Light, four boys stopped him. One person pulled him while two started beating him and the
fourth person took out his mobile, MTS USB Data Card and cash Rs 700/- from his pocket.
After robbing him, all four person fled away. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 19/11 u/s
327/379/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Subzi Mandi and investigation was taken
up. A dedicated team consisting of SI Sanjeev Kumar, HC Khushal and HC Sanjay was
constituted under the leadership of Insp. Ram Singh, SHO/Subzi Mandi and overall
supervision of Sh Sehdev Singh, ACP/Sadar Bazar.
INVESTIGATION
During the course of investigation, all known criminals of the area and adjoining
areas were physically checked. Surveillance was also kept over the activities of the
youngsters and budding criminals of the area and sources were deployed. The CDR of the
robbed Mobile Phone was obtained and the IMEI number of the Mobile Phone was kept
under observation. Later on, it was revealed that the Mobile Phone was being used by the
bearer of Mobile Connection No. 9873749048. The name and address of the user was
however found not verifiable. After persistent investigation, the user of the said mobile
number, namely Ashok Kumar s/o Kanwar Bahadur was apprehended. The robbed Mobile
Phone was recovered from his possession and he was subsequently arrested in this case.
INTERROGATION
During interrogation, the accused Ashok Kumar disclosed that he had purchased that
mobile phone from one Naveen @ Bholu for Rs. 1500/-. Subsequently, Naveen @ Bholu s/o
Dharam Pal was arrested in the case, who had played the role of agent between Ashok Kumar
and the robbers Anshul, Ravi, Gaurav and Kamal. He had earned Rs. 300/- as commission
knowing well that the phone was robbed one. At the instance of Naveen @ Bholu, the other
accused namely Anshul s/o Ram Das, Ravi s/o Suresh Kumar, Gaurav s/o Sunil Kumar and
Kamal s/o Manak Chand were arrested. The robbed data card of MTS was recovered from
the possession of the accused Ravi. Further investigation of the case is in progress to find out
their other criminal activities.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION
On 23.1.11, HC Praveen 207/W, HC Krishan Kumar 1964/W and Ct. Ankit 1670/W were on evening patrolling duty, when they reached near Ishwar Apartment, Village Nawada at about 7 PM, they found that one motorcyclist was going at a very high speed and immediately they chased him and apprehended the motorcyclist. In the meantime, the complainant Satinder Chouhan, S/o Sh. Manak Chand, R/o 203-C, Flat No.8, Ishwar Apartment, Nawada, Uttam Nagar, Delhi also reached there and disclosed that he is the owner of the same motorcycle No. DL 9S AA 7629, Black Pulsar and was just stolen by the same motorcyclist. He was later identified as Vipin, S/o Sh. Som Nath, R/o D-188, Gali No.3 Prem Nagar, Najafgarh, Delhi. A case FIR No. 32 dated 23.1.11 u/s 379/411 IPC was registered in PS Uttam Nagar & Vipin was arrested.
INTERROGATION
On sustained interrogation accused Vipin disclosed that he has stolen two motor cycles 1) DL 2S 6669 make RX-100 YAMAHA & 2) DL 9SV 8983 BAJAJ PULSAR (case FIR No. 15 dated 23.1.11 u/s 379 IPC PS Binda Pur) from the area of PS Binda Pur and one motor cycle No. 3) HR 26 A 8360 BAJAJ Discover from Prem Nagar, Najafgarh, Delhi. These three stolen motorcycles have been recovered at his instance. He stated that he belongs to a poor family and drop-out of 8th class and after leaving the school he came in to contact with bad companions and started committing crime to earn easy money.
The investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to trace & nab his other associates.Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

GANG OF AUTOLIFTERS BELONGING TO NORTH-EASTERN STATES BUSTED : 3 ARRESTED : FOUR STOLEN MOTORCYCLES RECOVERED
With the arrest of three accused, the South District Police has busted a
gang of North-Eastern autolifters and recovered four stolen motorcycles from them.
ACCUSED ARRESTED:
1. Zia-ur-Rehman @ Zoo age 22 years s/o Addil r/o Vill & PS - Lilong, Distt.- Thoubal, Manipur.
2. Rahimuddin age 22 years s/o Mushtaq Khan r/o Vill- Lilong Taireh Makhong, PO/PS – Lilong, Distt. Thoubal, Manipur
3. Imtiaz Khan Sheikh s/o Sanullah Sheikh r/o Vill- Lilong, Turnel, Ahanbi, Po&PS Lilong, Distt. Thoubal, Manipur.
INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST:
In order to prevent the incidents of the M.V. Thefts and to arrest the criminals involved in these incidents, several teams were formed in South
District. A special team of Police Station Vasant Vihar comprising of SI Mandeep, HCs Ramesh, Giri Raj, Krishan, Gulab, Constables Kalyan, Jaspal and Pradeep under the supervision of Inspr. Ved Parkash SHO/Vasant Vihar geared up its resources and developed information regarding the activities of autolifters active in South Distt.
Sources were deployed in the areas and surveillance was kept over the activities of the suspected criminals. The efforts of the police team bore fruits when on a specific information, two accused Zia-ur-Rehman and Rahimuddin were apprehended on 19.01.2011 and one motorcycle stolen from the area of P.S. Ambedkar Nagar was recovered. A case vide FIR No. 24/11u/s 411/482/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Vasant Vihar and both the accused were arrested. At their instance, accused Imtiaz was also arrested on 20.01.2001 and three more motorcycles were recovered.
INTERROGATION & PROFILE:
On sustained interrogation it was revealed that Zia-ur-Rehman, Rahimuddin and Imtiaz Imran originally belong to Village & PS Lilong, Manipur. After stealing the motorcycles, they used to dispose off the same to various receivers in North-Eastern cities. RECOVERY:

In order to earn more money, he got installed two more swiping machines from ICICI Bank. In most of the cheatings, the original I. D. proofs were also stolen which were being kept by the accused in order to generate false bills of purchase from his shop in the name of credit card holder and also to cover up his offence. GANG OF CREDIT CARD CHEATS BUSTED : ONE ARRESTED : 03 CREDIT CARDS, THREE SWIPING MACHINES ALONGWITH
ACCESSORIES, ONE STOLEN LAPTOP ETC. RECOVERED TILL NOW
South District Police has busted a gang of credit card cheats and arrested one of the active members of this gang who after obtaining the stolen credit cards used to swipe the same at his stores. Three swiping machines with their accessories rom HDFC bank, one laptop with its accessories, one modem with international internet connector, two HSBC Electronic code providers, three stolen credit cards, one original driving license of the complainant of the case, 09 cheque books of different banks and 07 forged bills in the names of different credit cards holders have been recovered.
ACCUSED ARRESTED:

INCIDENT, INVESTIGATION & ARREST:
On 06.01.2011, a PCR call vide DD No.29-A was received in P.S Safdarjung Enclave in which one Neeraj Chaudhary s/o Sh Harinder Singh r/o 312-A Block-4 Express Garden Indira Puram Ghaziabad UP reported theft of bag from his car parked at Kamal Cinema. Later, his statement was recorded in which he stated that the stolen bag was containing his credit card of ICICI Bank, original driving license and other valuable documents. On his statement, a case vide FIR No.05/11 Dt 08/01/11 U/S 379 IPC PS S J Enclave, New Delhi was registered and investigation was taken up by special team comprising SI D. V. Singh, PSI Anurag Tomar, ASI Udairam, HC Ramhet, Constables Salim and Avdhesh under the supervision of Inspr. Awatar Singh Rawat, SHO/S.J. Enclave and Sh. Mohinder Singh, ACP/S.J. Enclave.
During investigation, account statement of the complainant was obtained from the ICICI Bank. On meticulous scrutiny of the statement of the
complainant, it was found that the stolen card had been swiped and the swiped amount has been credited to one account in the name of Super Value Store located at C-11, Shardhanand Market, G.B. Road, New Delhi. The information of the theft of the credit card was reported from Safdarjang Enclave at 08:28 p.m.whereas this credit card was swiped at 08:46 p.m. at a shop located at C-11 Shardhanand Market, New Delhi.
During investigation, it was revealed that the entire limited value of the credit card i.e. to the tune of Rs.1, 82,000/- was swiped by making four attempts with in 07 minutes only. The owner of the shop Rajesh Maini Nath r/o Geeta Colony, Delhi who runs a small provision store at the same shop was arrested and interrogation at length. During interrogation, it was revealed that he is well-equipped with the knowledge of computer, its operation and the swiping machine. Earlier, he got installed one swiping machine from HDFC and started swiping of credit cards. The credit card of the complainant was also swiped from his shop. The account statements of the swipe machines (TID) were obtained from the bank and it was found that huge amount of money had been credited in the account of accused Rajesh Maini Natch. Accused got installed two more machines from ICICI bank by changing the name of his shop as Maini store, Super Value Store, Krishna Store, Nath Store and started to swipe the credit cards in mass.
The account statements of all the three installed machines at his shop were obtained and it was found that accused was involved in swiping of credit cards in large scale. During investigation, complaints of the theft of credit cards from other complainants were also received and it was found the accused had swiped more than Rs.1 lac from his shop and had generated false bills in the names of credit card holders.
PROFILE & MODUS-OPERANDI:

He started his shop at Shardhanand Market in GB Road Delhi and has good computer knowledge. In order to meet expenses on various indulgences, he started committing cheating.

Notorious robber nabbed
A team of Special Cell officers lead by Inspector Attar Singh consisting of SI Bhushan Azad, SI Satender Vashist, HC Suresh, HC Rajbir have arrested a notorious robber namely Sheikh Farid s/o Rahim Bux r/o E/44/B-167 Near Suraksha Nursing Home, Seemapuri, Delhi. He was having a reward of Rs. 5000/- on his arrest as announced by UP Police in case FIR No. 1533/09, Crime No. 2161 dated 27.10.09 u/s 2, 3 Gangsters Act, PS Sahibabad, UP.
On the basis of secret information developed by this team Sheikh Farid was arrested from the area of Seemapuri at about 7 pm on 21.1.11. On sustained interrogation he revealed that in the past also he was involved in various crimes in UP. Sheikh Farid alongwith his other associates robbed Rs. 13.5 lacs and scrap material of more than Rs.10 lacs at gunpoint from a godown in Sahibabad UP vide Case FIR No.254/09 Crime No. 391, dated 18.03.09 u/s 395/397/412/IPC PS Sahibabad, UP. Though they were arrested in case but jumped bail after release from Dasana Jail, UP and the Trial Court issued non-bailable warrant against them. Sheikh Farid is originally resident of West Bengal and started his career with embroidery work for about 15 years and after that he opened cycle rickshaw garage in the Trans Yamuna area of Delhi Due to heavy loss in his aforesaid ventures he organized a gang of robbers and committed various crimes.
UP Police has been informed and custody of accused Sheikh Farid has been given to UP Police.

ONE ARRESTED FOF MURDER:- Nagloi Police arrested one Nirmal @ Lucky 22 years R/o camp No. 2 Nagloi Delhi today. According to DCP/West there was a call in the morning today that a body of a male with wounds on its neck, face and solders lying near C-block dispensary. Later he was identified as Rakesh @ Anda 24 years R/o camp No.2 Nagloi who ran pan bidi shop near Lokesh Cimema. Nirmal @ Lucky purchased some items from his shop yesterday in the evening. Some dispute raised on the payment. At that time the accused went away to attend a marriage party. At around after mid- night accused returned back and killed him with sharp edged weapon. Further investigation is on.

SENSATIONAL KIDNAPPING CASE SOLVED: VICTIM RECOVERED GANG OF INTERSTATE KIDNAPPERS BUSTED : TWO ARRESTED
With the arrest of two persons namely (1) Ramesh @ Ravi, aged 28 years s/o Ratta Ram r/o T-235/A-6, Baljeet Nagar, Patel Nagar, Delhi and (2) Rahul, aged 20 years s/o Pradeep Gautam r/o Palam Vihar, Ambala Cantt., Haryana, the Central District police has solved a sensational blind case of kidnapping of a housewife aged 18 years. The kidnapping was done using unique modus operandi from premises of LNJP Hospital. The prosecutrix has been recovered and restored to her family.
INCIDENT AND THE TEAMOn 10.01.11, the complainant r/o Eastern UP reported regarding kidnapping of his
wife aged 18 years from LNJP Hospital on 09.01.11 by some unknown person. The complainant stated that he alongwith his wife had come to Delhi for treatment of his wife on 09.01.11 by train and had disembarked at New Delhi Railway Station where he had enquired about the location of LNJP Hospital from a person who readily accompanied them to the hospital. On reaching the hospital, he informed the complainant that during the course of treatment they would be required to visit the hospital regularly and would require a rented accommodation locally. He also offered to show them a few accommodations for which he asked the complainant to accompany him and took him to some place unknown to the complainant where he asked him to wait and himself left the place on the pretext of meeting the owner of the house. He remained waiting there for about an hour and when the said person did not return, he came back to LNJP Hospital and found his wife missing. When he enquired from the other patients in the corridor, they informed that his wife was taken away by the person who had taken him (complainant) along for searching accommodation. On this, a case vide FIR No. 5/11 u/s 365 IPC was registered at PS IP Estate and the investigation was taken up.
Two teams were constituted in the matter consisting of Inspr. Madan Gopal, SI Rajesh Kumar, I/C PP, JPN Hospital, ASI Rakesh Kumar, HC Mushtaq Khan, Ct Tajender, Ct Parveen, Ct Kiran Pal, W/HC Brijesh, W/Ct of PS IP Estate and Ct. Satbir of Spl Staff/Central under the supervision of ACP/Kamla Market.
INVESTIGATIONIt was a blind case of kidnapping and there was no clue about the accused
persons. Several sources were deployed and local intelligence was also gathered. Further, technical surveillance was also mounted since the victim was learnt to be carrying a mobile phone. After sincere and painstaking efforts, the kidnappers were traced to State of Haryana and two of them namely Ramesh @ Ravi and Rahul above were arrested from Delhi and Ambala, respectively. Further, at their instance, the victim was recovered from Karnal, Haryana where she was sold to a handicapped person namely Karan Singh r/o Village Bijna, Karnal.INTERROGATION
Both the accused were subjected to interrogation during which they revealed that there are 6 members in the gang including two ladies. All the members are residents of Haryana except Ramesh @ Ravi. They target the young girls at Railway stations, ISBTs, Hospitals etc. and get familiar with them on the pretext of helping them. Further, they kidnap them and sell them off at heavy price. In the present case also the couple was targeted at New Delhi Railway Station. The husband was taken to a place unknown to him on the pretext of arranging a room and left there whereas the person accompanying him went back to the Hospital where he informed the victim that the room has been arranged and her husband had called her to the said room. She was thereafter kidnapped and sold at Village Bijna, Karnal to one Karan Singh who is handicap person who lost both his legs in a rail accident.
Ramesh @ Ravi is previously also involved in a similar case of kidnapping of PS Old Delhi Railway Station of the year 2006 and is presently on bail. He is the one who met the couple at Railway station and later on kidnapped the victim from LNJP Hospital. Rahul was involved in wrongfully confining the victim at Ambala before selling her at Karnal.
Further investigation is in progress to arrest the remaining accused and unearth their other involvements.

ONE HELD FOR DUPING YOUTH ON THE PRETEXT OF GETTING THEM EMPLOYMENT IN REPUTED COMPANY
With the arrest of one Shan Mohd. aged 22 years s/o Subha Khan r/o Vill. Karimpura, Distt. Bulandshahar, UP, the Central District police has busted a racket involved in duping innocent youth on the pretext of getting them jobs in reputed companies.
INCIDENT AND TEAM One Manoj Bishnoi s/o Ram Singh Bishnoi r/o Sangner, Jaipur, Rajasthan reported
that he has been cheated of Rs. 55,000/- by a person who assured him of arranging a job in HCL Company. He further stated that his friend has also been cheated of Rs. 65,000/- by the same person giving similar assurance. Consequently, a case of cheating vide FIR No. 4/11 was registered at PS Karol Bagh and investigation was taken up.
A team consisting of Inspr. Vimal Kishor SHO/Karol Bagh, Inspr. ATO Brijesh Mishra, SI Satender, SI Prashant, HC Ravinder was formed under the supervision of Shri S. Saravanan ACP/Karol Bagh.
INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATIONInitially, the police team tried to contact the person behind this racket but it did not
give any result. Then, a decoy girl was asked to contact the accused person on the pretext of getting job and he was called in the area of Karol Bagh from where he was apprehended on 23.01.11. His identity was disclosed as Shan Mohd. r/o Bulandshahar, UP.
He was subjected to sustained interrogation in which he disclosed that he had come to Delhi in the year 2006 and joined a BPO company in Noida as Recruitment Assistant. During employment, he learnt the skills of recruitment in private companies. Meanwhile, he also completed his BBA studies from Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi.
In the year 2008, he left his job and started posing himself as the representative of a recruitment company ADDECCO, Karol Bagh which was authorized by the BSES for recruitment purposes. He started taking money from many educated people especially B-techs, MBAs for providing jobs in blue chip companies. To impress the candidates, he had also enrolled himself for MBA correspondence course in Jamia Hamdard University. He also gave his advertisement on internet social sites such as “Qicker” and “sansar.com” etc. Initially, he used to take Rs. 5,000-10,000/- as registration fee. Then, he gave fake appointment letters in the name of blue chip companies such as HCL, BSES, Videocon, D2H Services etc. and charged Rs. 50,000-70,000/- from the candidates.
He had duped many innocent unemployed youths. His main targets were educated youths who are residents of outside Delhi and were staying in Delhi for seeking jobs. He used to get information about the boys and girls from internet and HRD department of companies who have given their bio-data for employment. He regularly kept changing his telephone numbers so that he could not be tracked by the candidates whom he had duped.
Further investigation is under progress.

He had completed his intermediate from Hapur in the year 2006. Then, he came to Delhi and completed BBA from Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi. He was fond of lavish style and spent money on girls.
