Job Description Title: Patient Services Co-ordinator Reports to: Patient Services Manager Based at: Chipping Norton Job Purpose: To provide direct emotional and practical support to patients and carers Key Responsibilities: Answering enquiries in a sympathetic, informative and supportive manner, whilst demonstrating confidentiality and sensitivity Using central database to record correspondence with members to ensure full history is maintained Building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders including patients, carers, medical professionals and donors Identifying gaps in patient information and developing current resources to reflect current guidelines and medical advances Providing ideas and text for charity publications, social media posts and webpages Look for and consider opportunities to increase revenue and add value to charity initiatives, campaigns and events Supporting the organisation of patient events, as well as annual charity events including Patients Day, Heart Rhythm Week and AF Aware Week To create three charities newsletter per year, seeking case studies and medical articles Book and attend patient support meetings When needed attend Cardiac update meetings & Know you Pulse Events Identify and support charity fundraisers by maintaining a close relationship until after the event Job descriptions are reviewed at least annually. Look for and consider opportunities to increase revenue and add value to charity initiatives, campaigns and events

Book and attend patient support meetings

Person specification:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Friendly and polite, with the ability to sympathise- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)- Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload - Can work flexibly, and as part of a team
