M1 Evidence

In his screenshot the menu that I have created to make navigation more efficient has been shown.

I have also improved the efficiency in the screenshot above by using a simple Visual Basic if statement to make the formula mode button a toggle, instead of two buttons; an on button and an off button. This just simplifies the spreadsheet and saves space.

Here are the navigation buttons on each of the other worksheets that allow the user to navigate easily and access formula mode:

I have stuck with this same colour scheme since creating the database in the first place. I have used light blue for the titles of each row and column and added a single border around the primary dataset of the worksheet. In all of the other, smaller tables on the same worksheet I have made them dark blue with white text and added borders to all of the cells. I think that this just makes it easier for people to tell what information is the primary focus of the worksheet.

I improved the layout of all of the worksheets for printing by making all of the primary data sets fit on one page of A4 paper. This means that none of the main parts of it will be cut off from the rest and each primary dataset will be kept to a single page.

I have used conditional formatting to add eye catching colour to various parts of the worksheets so that the users know immediately if a value is good, bad or on the fence between the two.

In this screenshot I am showing all of the rules that I have applied to the above cells to make sure that they are coloured correctly.

I have used data validation on the first sales data set so that incorrect values cannot be input, because it would cause the rest of the calculations throughout the workbook to be wrong.

Here is the input message:

Here is the error message that prevents the user form inputting incorrect values if they try.

This is what the workbook looked like before I made any changes to it at all:

When I change the cover price, all of the values in the dataset change because they are all linked:

Another thing that I could change is the target sales on the sales spreadsheet, currently it is set to 7565, but if I change it to 9500 certain titles will be below target because they did not average enough sales.
