Worship with Us Outdoors

We are now holding a service outdoors in the grove every Sunday (weather permitting) at 8 am. In order to register for the service, you will need to agree to these safety measures which include: checking yourself for symptoms of COVID prior to joining us and staying home if you are experiencing any symptoms, wearing a mask for the entire time you are on campus, maintaining distance between yourself and those who are not members of your household, and bringing your own chair or blanket for seating.  We will have a few extra chairs available, but they are unlikely to be quite as comfortable as your own. Please RSVP at https://stjamesaustin.org/8-am-in-person-outdoor-eucharist-registration/ or call the office to get your name on the list.

The Big Class: Civil Conversations in Uncivil Times: Practicing Our Faith in the Public Square with Ray Suarez.  In this contentious election season, many of us are looking for ways to bring our faith into our political interactions. Ray Suarez knows a lot about contentious political landscapes. He also knows a great deal about faith.  You can register today for this class, which opens on October 12, and will remain free to students across the world through October 26. You can take this course at your own pace, at whatever time suits you. It should take less than an hour to complete, and students will have an opportunity to ask the instructor questions.  Register at https://www.churchnext.tv/library/civil-conversations-in-uncivil-times-practicing-our-faith-in-the-public-square/176891/about/
