Church Sacrament Preparation Registration 2020 – 2021

Is your child in grade 2 or higher? If so they are ready and eager to prepare for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Confirmation is celebrated when your child is in grade 6, Junior High or High School. Confirmation candidates can prepare for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Eucharist at the same time as Confirmation. It is never too late to receive these sacraments!

Please contact the Parish office by phone or email to be placed on our pre-registration list. Please share this information with friends or family who may not know registration starts now. If you are not a Parishioner of St. John’s, you are welcome to join us! If you belong to another Parish, please contact that Parish for registration information.

The first component of preparation is small group Registration/Orientation meeting, proposed for July through early October, specific dates and times to be determined. Due to current gathering limits, we are thinking of creative ways to meet.

Attendance at a Parent Meeting for Reconciliation / Eucharist, a Family Meeting for Confirmation, and preparation sessions on Saturdays are also required components of preparation. Schedules for meetings and session dates will be available in July.

Please call or email us about Baptism for infants, older children, youth, and adults of any age – this is the start of the faith journey!
