1. An autobiographical story giving a reasonably full account of your life, up to the present time, family experience, general health and educational background. (2,000 word limit).
2. A description of your spiritual development including events or relationships that have informed and influenced your beliefs and values (1,000 word limit).
3. A description of your employment and or significant voluntary roles including a chronological list of positions and dates.
4. An example of a recent pastoral relationship, the nature of the care you provided, your understanding of the request and your response.
5. Your current understanding of clinical pastoral education, your expectations of the program and how you hope to use this training.
6. An outline of the learning goals you wish to achieve from CPE.
7. Referees: Verbal references from two persons (faith affiliation, professional or academic) who know you well enough to evaluate your work and character. Please provide name and contact details of referees.
8. The name and contact details of your previous CPE supervisor if applicable.
9. A letter of endorsement from a spiritual or religious body.
VITAL DETAILS OF THE PROGRAM
➢ Once your application has been received you will be contacted by email as to your success for an offer of an interview.
➢ A tutorial fee is required and may change annually.
➢ Personal details from the application are kept confidentially.
➢ Any information provided by unsuccessful applicants will be deleted and shredded once the CPE group has been established.
