Ceremony & Reception Amenities• Same Amenities as the Receptions above• Additional ½ hour is added for the ceremony• 1-hour rehearsal on Thursdays (subject to change upon availability) beginning by 5:30 p.m. or earlier. There will be a charge of $100 if more than an hour is needed for rehearsals. • The bridal suite is available for at least 1 hour before the wedding for bride and her party. Additional hours before the wedding can be purchased for $250 per hour. Day-Of Event Coordinator

Upon booking at La Maison de Bella, our Catering and Events Director will work together with one of our Event Coordinators to ease the bride and her family from any worries and to make their day as perfect as possible. A Coordinator will oversee your wedding day to make sure it is easy, beautiful, and fun for the bride and all her guests. Below is what will be offered on top of the other amenities previously stated. There will be a $150 fee for our event coordinator.

What is included:

One-month meeting with the Catering & Events Directoro Vendor information is finalized o Expectations of the ceremony and reception will be exchanged o Will discuss the amount of help that will be needed to execute the bride’s

vision One month before the wedding a timeline template will be given to the bride Professional advice is given to the bride

o When you ask our opinion, please remember it is only an opinion. This is your special day and we want to help make your event perfect.

Properly line up processional Coordinate entertainment and all announcements/events during reception Will help load all bride’s belongings and décor

o We suggest that you bring large plastic tubs or boxes to pack all your personal items at the end of the event. We provide containers for your leftover food and cake. We do not give to-go boxes to your guests. Your food will be packed up and given to the person responsible for the event.

Prepared to meet any emergency that may arise Will ensure that the timeline goes according to plan unless bride specifies things to

change Event Coordinator will arrive two hours prior to your event. Extra hours with the

coordinator are $35/hour. This will be added if you purchase an extra hour to your event.

Clients will be responsible for bringing their décor and setting it up. Our event coordinator will be glad to assist as much as she can.

Month-Of Second-Tier Coordinator

If you would like to go a step above our regular Event Coordinator, you can purchase our second-tier coordinator. She will ensure that every little detail is covered, so you and your family do not have to worry about a thing on your special day. What she includes is listed below. There will be a $400 fee for this coordinator.

Everything that is listed above, as well as the following This package will allow vendors to come 3 hours before the ceremony. Your

coordinator will also be here 3 hours before the event and will stay until clean up after the event

Manage wedding vendors per bride’s instructionso She will be available during the entire wedding day, by phone, to assist

vendors with any problems or questions Catering & Events Director will contact vendors a month out Responsible for reception and ceremony set up

o Responsible for making sure all bride’s décor is in proper placeso Placing centerpieces, sign-in table décor, table names, place cards,

favors, toasting glasses, and serving set per instructions She will go over a check list of things that need to be handled or needed before the

big day Facilitate the wedding ceremony

o Check for any items necessary to properly conduct the ceremonyo Oversee ushers, priests/pastors, and bridal partyo Properly line up processional and cue musicians

Manage wedding party during pictures and scheduled events at reception Ensure payment of vendor tips and balances Return any personal or rented items to owners Pick up anything that belongs to the bride and have it ready for whomever was

assigned to bring all the couple’s belongings and gifts home with them Event Coordinator will arrive three hours prior to your event. Any additional hours

with the coordinator are $35/hour. This will be added if you purchase an extra hour to your event.

Additional fees may apply to events lasting over three hours.

1. Customer is responsible for the tentative guest count they list on the contract. Once the deposit is paid, the guest count and food or beverage package cannot be lowered. Make your best estimate, as we can always go up but not down. Food must be ordered, and staff has to be scheduled.

2. Customer agrees to deposit requirements (25% of total balance) and payment schedules listed on the contract. The total balance is calculated based upon contracted guest count multiplied by food and beverage packages plus Louisiana sales tax, rental fee, and service fee. Should payment requirements not be met, the reservation will become null and void. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3. A Service fee of 3.5% will be added to all Credit Card/Debit Card payments.

4. Friday and Saturday events require a minimum of 100 guests.

5. All catering and beverage at La Maison de Bella are exclusive to Lauryn’s Fine Catering.

6. We require full payment, final guest count, and final food and beverage package one month-to-date prior to the event. If the attendance falls below the final guest count, the customer will still be charged for the final guest count. If the attendance is above the final guest count, the overages are due immediately after the function in cash or check, as well as the 20% (of food and beverage) service fee.

7. Cancellation Policy:a. Written notice of cancellation, by certified mail, must be received by La Maison de

Bella no less than 90 days prior to contracted date. b. Cancellations within 90 days, makes the remaining balance due and payable

immediately. Should it be necessary to secure the services of an attorney to collect the unpaid balance, the customer shall be liable for all expenses of collection, including but not limited to court costs and attorney fees fixed at a minimum of 25% of the amount due.

c. 90 days prior to the scheduled date: 50% of the estimated invoice amount will be due.

d. Estimated invoices are calculated based upon contracted guest count multiplied by food and beverage packages plus Louisiana sales tax, rental fee, and service fee.

8. All menu items and prices are based on availability and are subject to change. 9. The customer must receive permission from La Maison de Bella before contracting any

outside entertainment. Bands contracted by customer shall not bring guests unless previously agreed by La Maison de Bella and customer. Bands will have no more than 3 hours to set up before the event start time and no more than one hour to remove their equipment. La Maison de Bella reserves the right to refuse to allow anyone to use equipment which La Maison de Bella feels may prove to be unsafe or a hazard to individuals or property. Bands will have a specified area to set up their equipment. La Maison de Bella has the option and authority to monitor and control the volume of the bands and/or music system.

10. If the contract is not fulfilled due to natural disaster or act of God, the function will be re-scheduled, and all payments will be re-applied to another open date within one year of this contract.

11. The customer will be responsible for all guests and for damages or thefts that may occur to La Maison de Bella, due immediately after the function in cash or check. If damages are not recognized until event cleanup, up to a week following the event, customer will be contacted to arrange payments.

12. ALL outside entertainment and decorations must be approved by La Maison de Bella. (No paper confetti, fireworks, rice, birdseed, etc. allowed on premises)

13. Should the customer wish to allow entry by admit card only, the customer is responsible for providing a person at the door to collect admit cards and make any decisions regarding entry of a guest.

14. If additional reception time is purchased, $500 is required for each additional hour. Should your event run over your scheduled time, you will be charged per hour it has run over (Bar fee for an additional hour is separate from the rental fee).

15. Rehearsals:

a. Customers will be given 1 hour for rehearsal on the Thursday before their wedding (date subject to change based on availability) with rehearsal beginning no later than 5:30 p.m.

b. If rehearsal extends past 6:30 p.m., the client must pay an additional $100 per hour, which will be due on the night of the rehearsal.

16. La Maison de Bella reserves the right to provide all beverage service, including alcoholic beverages. La Maison de Bella is not responsible for any damage or injury to or by individuals who have been served alcohol. Customer agrees to abide with Louisiana Law concerning the consumption of alcohol. La Maison de Bella reserves the right to stop serving a guest that is becoming a risk to a function due to alcohol. All persons consuming alcohol must be 21 years old and able to provide proper identification.

17. This agreement shall be considered to have been made in the state of Louisiana and shall be interpreted, and rights and liabilities determined, in accordance with the laws of said state. If any of the provisions of this agreement are contrary to, prohibited by, or held invalid under applicable laws or regulations of any jurisdiction in which it is sought to be enforced, then only that provision shall be considered inapplicable and omitted but shall not invalidate the remaining provisions.

18. This contract contains all agreements by the parties hereto. There are no promises, agreements, terms or conditions than those contained within this contract. This agreement shall apply to and bind all parties, may not be assigned by either party, and cannot be changed or altered orally.

The undersigned has read and agrees to abide by all La Maison de Bella policies and will assume any and all responsibility for any damage done to La Maison de Bella or its contents during the rental period and occurring as a result of using such facilities, including damage by attendees.

Furthermore, I, my vendors, agents, employees, and guests will attend and use the La Maison de Bella facilities at our own risk. La Maison de Bella shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injuries sustained by any such person on the premises of La Maison de Bella and we the customer assume full and total responsibility for such damages. La Maison de Bella and its staff shall not be liable for any equipment, property, or personal belongings, whether rental or otherwise, which are used or left at La Maison de Bella premises in connection with an event. In consideration of being granted the right to use La Maison de Bella facilities, we hereby release and hold harmless La Maison de Bella, its members, managers, owners, employees, and agents from all claims, demands, or rights of action arising out of such use of La Maison de Bella or its facilities.
