USER MANUAL – FACTORY ACT

General Description

Already registered users under factory act can login to their account by selecting the user type – Factories Act as shown in the below image and entering their email and password.

Then user will be logged in to the dashboard and can apply for license.

For new registration under factory act check below screenshots

Factory owner will be able to register a factory by clicking on “Online Registration Under Factory Act” from the homepage.

If the Factory owner is already registered then he/she has to follow the following steps

Visit department website and click on user login and then select factory then enter Email id and password.

New applicant will visit this page and he/she has to read all the instruction as shown in below image and the tick the acknowledgement and then click on submit button.

Factory owner has to check whether his/her factory is already registered under factor act or not, so applicant has to search by entering factory name or application id.

Factory owner is not registered then click “Click here to fill the Basic Information Form”.

Factory owner needs to fill all the required details in this registration form. After filling all the required information then tick the declaration and click on submit button.

After submitting all the required information factory owner will get the successful registration page. SMS/Email is also send to the factory owner. Then factory owner have to check his/her e-mail and click the link mention in mail to complete the verification process.

Contributions

Factory Owner has to provide workers details and pay the contribution. Firstly factory owner has to provide workers details like father’s name, aadhaar no, date of joining etc. Then click on submit button. As shown in below image.

Factory owner has to pay the contribution by clicking “Pay” then window will be redirected to secured bank website.

3 Licensing

Factory owner will be able to do following under licensing:

Applicant will be directed to the FORM NO. 2 and can apply for license for 1 year or 5 years. Already provided information will be added automatically but required fields applicant has to fill. Then click on submit button.

Applicant has to provide workers details as shown in below image .

For any kind of amendment applicant have to select yes or no to do any updations.

Applicant has to upload the required document as shown in below image. Image should be only .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif, .docx, .pdf of maximum size 2 MB.

When applicant click on “submit ” button then one time password will be send to the registered mobile no. and enter that otp as shown below.

Pay fees

Applicant has to pay. Fees is auto calculated based on no. of workers and applicant has to follow the following process as shown below.

After clicking on “Pay Now” the window will be redirected to bank secured window and fees will be paid through credit/ debit/ net banking.

After paying fees applicant will get the below image of application for factory submitted and applicant can download the form in .pdf format and view the fee also.

Scrutiny Sheet

Applicant can pay the payment and can submit the required document by clicking on ‘’click here’. As shown below.

Payment

Applicant can pay the fees through online system by clicking “select mode of payment” and window will be redirected to e-Gras treasury system and payment can be done.

Objection Reply

Applicant can reply to objection to department through online system by adding required information and by uploading required documents.

Form No. 18

Applicant can apply for form no. 18 clicking on other applications and then select Form 18 and already provided information in BIP will be auto filled and required information applicant have to provide. Notice of accident and dangerous occurrence resulting in bodily injury. Factory owner will have to fill this form in case of such incidents. He/she will be able to view all previous details of the accidents in the factory. This form 18 is prescribed under Punjab Factory Rules, 1952 rule number 103

After submitting the application applicant will get the below image and can check the status f the application. And click on “View”. As shown below.

Form 18A

Notice of dangerous occurrence which does not result in bodily injury. Factory owner will have to fill this form in case of such incidents. He/she will be able to view all previous details of the accidents in the factory. This form 18A is prescribed under Punjab Factory Rules, 1952 rule number 103.

After submitting the application applicant will get the dashboard of Form no. 18-A and click on “view ” to check the details.

After clicking on view applicant will get the below image and can check the status of application.

Factory Closure formFor factory closure factory owner have to inform the department by clicking on option of “Other Applications”. Factory owner need to fill all the required details.

View Inspection: - Factory owner will click on “View Inspection” and list of inspections will appear. factory owner can check and reply by clicking on “Details”

Detailed list will appear as shown below. And factory owner can reply by clicking on comment and can download the hearing report also.
