Copy Machine Instructions for Faculty and Staff Mac Printing Due to a server change, the faculty/Staff print server for Macs is currently unavailable. If you are working on campus from a Mac and are unable to print, please do the following: 1. Connect to the “SNC” network a. Go to System Preferences > Network b. Select “AirPort” from the list on the left side of the window c. On the right side of the window, click the drop-down menu next to “Network Name” d. Select “SNC” from the list that populates (you will not require a network password) e. Click “Apply” 2. Remove any of the previously installed SNC printers/copiers 3. Copy Machine Instructions for Faculty and Staff

Mac Printing

Due to a server change, the faculty/Staff print server for Macs is currently unavailable. If you are working on campus from a Mac and are unable to print, please do the following:

1. Connect to the “SNC” networka. Go to System Preferences > Networkb. Select “AirPort” from the list on the left side of the windowc. On the right side of the window, click the drop-down menu next to “Network Name”d. Select “SNC” from the list that populates (you will not require a network password)e. Click “Apply”

Connecting to SNC Copy Machines (Windows)

1. First, you will need to remove the old devices installed on your computer. Click “Start”, and then select “Devices and Printers”.

2. Once in the Devices and Printers window, right-click on the copy machine you wish to remove, and then select “Remove Device”.

a. Note that this only pertains to printers/copiers that you installed prior to June 1 st, 2013.

3. Next, copy the following URL into Internet Explorer (Firefox and Safari will not work):

http://snc-it-fsprint/printers/

4. Click on the desired copy machine (names correspond with locations)

5. Under Printer Actions, click “Connect”.

6. When asked if you add a printer connection, click “Yes”.

7. If prompted to install a driver, click “Install Driver”.

8. Once the installation has finished, and you wish to install another device, click “All Printers”, under View, to return to the list of printers/copiers.

5. In the “User Information Settings” window, enter your first initial and last name (John Smith = jsmith) into the “User Name” field. Do not enter anything in the “PIN for Secured Print” field.

1. The below image is the default screen for the copiers when they are not in use. To login, enter your first initial and last name (John Smith = jsmith) into the “User Name” field, and your copy code into the “Password” field. Once you are finished, press “Login”.

2. Once you have logged in, the options shown below will then be available for use. When you are finished, press “Log Out”.
