Subject: Repurposing Project Report

Attached is the report for our project, “Real Estate CRM Informational Packet: A Recommendation Report.” We have completed our self-delegated tasks leading to a finished informational packet for Paul Newland’s Customer Relationship Management software.

Throughout our tasks, we conducted surveys of agents. These surveys provided us with the information we needed to see how the majority of real estate agents are currently managing their contacts. From the data gathered, we were able to craft an informative information packet targeted at real estate agents.

Our research showed us that many real estate agents are not managing their contacts and customer relationships in the best way possible. Although the some are using customer relationship management software, that software is often not created with real estate agent needs in mind. Some agents are also using old fashioned spreadsheets or email based systems to manage their contacts. This outdated form of customer relationship management can be time consuming and lack the intuitiveness needed to grow or maintain strong relationships.

We recommend that the informational packet we created be distributed to real estate agents. Real estate agents need to understand the flaws with their current systems and the benefits of switching to Paul’s cloud based CRM software program.

Our team appreciates that you have given us the opportunity to participate in this project. We hope that the informational packet we have created will assist Paul in marketing his software to real estate agents. For further information on our project or the software, please contact Paul Newland at [email protected].

Executive Summary

We have created an informational packet in order to promote Paul Newland’s Real Estate CRM software. Our group of four team members have worked together using the Blackboard classroom environment. This report details the steps we took to complete this product and our recommendation for its use. In addition, you will find our final product in the appendix section of this report.

Introduction

One of our teammates, Paul Newland, has created a cloud based customer relationship management (CRM) software system that was designed with real estate agents in mind. The software was designed to help real estate agents maintain and grow their relationships with their clients as well as to turn leads into future clients.

The software system has features that differentiate it from other CRM methods currently used by real estate agents. The system is cloud based, meaning that the data it contains is accessible from multiple devices. This eliminates the need to enter information on both your computer and cellular phone. This system also has automatic reminders prompting you to make contact with clients or leads on a set schedule. Other systems often require the user to log in to the system before they can see their scheduled contacts.

The goal of our informational packet is to persuade real estate agents to purchase Paul’s CRM software. We attempted to persuade readers of this packet by detailing the inefficiencies with the current systems agents are using. In addition, we provided detailed information and screenshots of the new system highlighting the differences and benefits it contains.

Research Methods

We conducted research by questioning many real estate agents as to what products and methods they use to maintain and grown client relationships. This research was completed by contacting real estate agents over the telephone and through email. Since this software was created for real estate agents, they are naturally our target audience with the information packet we created.

It was important to address the needs and concerns of the audience, real estate agents. This led us to mention real estate agents by name through the product. We also made sure to mention the inefficiencies with their current systems.

As a team we utilized the Blackboard discussion board environment to communicate with each other. We posted our individual contributions to the project for each other to view on the discussion boards as well. We utilized the file exchange to post an outline of

what this report should be. We also posted the final product (informational packet) here for the whole team to view.

Results

The research we conducted allowed us to shine a light on the inefficiencies in the current methods and systems used by real estate agents. After we this, we were able to present Paul’s CRM system and highlight the benefits it provides and how it will allow the agents to be more successful in managing their client relationships. The natural flow of problem to solution in our information packet should help to persuade real estate agents that the CRM system is necessary for them to increase their level of success.

Conclusions

The informational packet, which is included in the appendix of their report, will help Paul market his CRM system to real estate agents. We have identified the current systems used by agents and pointed out the problems with them. From there we them a solution, the new CRM system. The informational packet continues to persuade the reader by offering screen shots of the software in addition to highlighting features. Real estate agents wanting to grow their client relationships, and thus increase their business, will want to use this product.

Recommendations

We recommend that this informational packet be distributed to real estate agents who need help managing their contacts and growing their customer relationships. Through our research we have found that this software would be beneficial to a large number of real estate agents.

This informational packet can be used as a marketing tool by Paul to promote and sell his software. The success of our product can be judged by the response it solicits from real estate agents as well as the number of sales orders received for the software. If our product fails to gain the interested of real estate agents or does not help gain sales, then our product would be considered unsuccessful.
