John D- I just watched this..and I have to tell you that all though many of the the things it said are true, (some are not) its solution is flawed. My belief in a God who sent His son to die for me can not accurately be called superstition. The Venise project is the most Humanistic cult I have seen so fare. Suzie Q- I've done much research on the venus project, and I continue to support it. My being Atheist backs calling god and jesus superstition. Suzie Q- It doesn't matter how old you are, I can know the truth just as much as you. The bible isn't real. There are so many discrepencies in it. To believe in god makes you a fool, and those are my words. To pray, ask for, talk to nothing is ridiculous. Having a god is a crutch, and leaves you living in denial.

Bob- ok i want in on this. love me some debate. now my problem with verses from the bible is that the bible does a great job of discrediting it self with all the contradictions that it has and if you think on it logically with as many translatio...n issues(such as not having a solid method back then and words now meaning different things ect..), and as many people that have had there hands in it and have used it for there own gain(witch is not just my opinion but documented through out history) and also all the different versions proves that the bible is nothing more than man writing a book and a poor one at that. and barry is far more valid and arguable then jesus as everyone can see him and touch him. i'm down to believe and at one time did that there is some god or higher being out there that has my back as long as i worship him or her, but with all the research that i've done(and open mindfully) and all the experience's that i've had bring me to the same conclusions that god is a man made thing to explain the unexplainable since the begging of time. there are several religions out there that have similar outlines and story's and characters and all of those have fallen to science and logic and reason and its just a matter of time before this one does to. now as far as the venues project i can't possibly see how raising the standard of living for everyone in the whole world is a bad thing and its no more a cult than any other organization or religion out there today. i believe in what is consistent. if god is real and would like to show me i'm open to have it shown but so far the only things that have been proven or consistent is logic.

Nathan Myers- gotta agree with Bob, debate is pretty cool and philosophy is too.. I look to my side and there is a book. This book has information in it. I love the information in it, yet I do not let it control my life or my beliefs. I may look to ...the book for guidance, to further my thinking, my understanding, but do not let the book tell me how to live, for that would give the author control of my life, my mind. That is a choice I was given by being a human, to live my life the best I see fit. Now this book, it is made of paper and ink. Both of these come from earth, as far as i know… A human wrote on the paper with the ink he had, which made it a whole book for another to read, to ponder on, to further education. Everything in this book may not be true, may be, that is for the reader to decide. But when I read this book, I keep in mind that humans are just as capable to lie as they are to tell the truth. But this book is not the bible. So, I ask… What is the bible made from? Did a human being (or a few) write it?

John D- To be factual, the Bible is 66 books in one, written over a 2500 year spand. In the actual languages it was written in there are no contradictions. When it gets to english there are a few misunderstandings. Thats why I read 18 different translations. Who wrote it? Well, you would have to have faith to except that answer.

Thus, Luke 3:23 would be clearer if translated as, "Joseph, the son-in-law of Heli," or "Joseph, the legal son of Heli" Acording to Jewish law, if Heli had no male heir,(and as fare as we know he didn't) he could adopt the husband of his daughter if he was from the same tribe (Judah, and he was) You have to know Jewish law before you can start yelling conterdiction. Many many jews who do know their law have been converted to Christianity. The closer we look at these so called conterdictions, the more truth we find.

In 1 Cor 2:15 the greek word is an-ak-ree-no. It means to scrutinize. providing the solution, to create the United States of America. Yet again the tactic is used even when we form to become one country, the “left” or “right”, the democrats and republicans. another area of life, the “colored community”, and by that I mean all races of the human species, black, white, brown, etc. The point is, does it even matter? When one looks at a rainbow, does he not see the beauty of it as a whole? When one can truly roam the earth freely, does he not see the beauty of it as a whole? We are all humans capable of thinking reasonably. So if one would acquire the knowledge that humans are mind, body, soul; unconcious, subconcious, and concious; or whatever way it may be described… This would show that no matter the different beliefs, we are 3 parts. So if we are all the same in that aspect and the only thing that is different is the mind and body, unconcious and subconcious, then we dive deeper to see that we are all a pure soul, searching for the truth wherever it may be to our questions that will seemingly never end because once we get one answer, the greedy people we are (the ones in search of knowledge, which should be all humans) will have another question that needs to be answered. “A line can divide existence. Above the line is knowledge, below it is opinion. To be is know. The more you know the better you are.”- PLATO. So here yet again there is another flaw by applying the divide and conquer technique… WHAT IF… All there was is knowledge, not opinions because the knowledge would allow every human to know. What if instead we switch the word “opinion” for the word “belief”. This would make sense, being it that we are all individuals and all have our own beliefs. Then, Plato, every human can BE! This would show yet another divide and conquer technique meant to separate the people. The idea of, cause confusion and debate among the people and they will not pay attention to the real issues at hand, can yet again be put to rest. Because although some people are figuring out what went wrong amongst themselves, the bigger thinkers will clearly see what has happened and do what they can to fix the issue from where it came. Say I was at the top of a hill… I had a big round boulder, but from the top of this hill you could not see me for it be too high for some to see. And what if no one knew I was at the top of that hill. Well then clearly I could roll the boulder down the hill and cause confusion among the people. Many people will focus on what the damage has done at the bottom of the hill and think of how to fix it. Well, the great thinkers will observe what has happened and pose the question, “Where did it come from? Was it cause by accident or deliberately? WE NEED TO KNOW!” and after they figured out where it came from and why, then they will surely wish to ask me why I have done such a thing. After that is figured out, they will again pose the question of what to do with me, so the question and answer game seems a “never ending story”. BUT, what if I just put someone else at the top of the hill and allowed them to take the fall for it? Knowing that they dare not say a word about me. I could then come in and provide the answer to all questions that the people had… and what if I was wise enough that beforehand I pondered on what questions the people will ask, therefore I can be as ready as ever when asked the questions which will make them think I am the right person for the job to sort things out… This is where transparency comes into play, or as many psychologists like to say “shades of glasses that the people wear”. So, now, what if I had prepped the people for what was going to happen, so their will is that much easier to control, therefore knowing what color of shades I have put on them, making it that much easier to come in with all the answers… This is what I would call.. And if I know this, now, and I believe if I am having a conversation with myself, aka THINKING, then I would KNOW that it would be wise not to attempt this great boulder idea in the first place, because I also know hurting my neighbors only hurts myself. It seems now my only choice would be to do whatever I can to help my brothers and sisters of the human race prevail and overcome whatever “hills” or “issues” we may come across, because I KNOW that on the other side (of this document?)… OUR human race will be even that much more advanced than we once were. It being that we helped each other instead of try to tear each other down. Kind of like two kids playing on a beach, one creates a GIGANTIC castle and town, but the other kid comes over to see what is being done. Well, if the 2nd kid tears down the others castle that would mean even the second kid would have to build his own which wouldn’t be a positive move for either of them. So would it not be more beneficial for the 2nd kid to come in and help his human brother extend this great… empire (?) that has been created? A wise man would say yes. Therefore the tactic of divide and conquer would have no need to apply in the situation. So what if one nation or person that gets jealous of another, instead of tearing down what they have, brings in the proper tools for his neighbor that he can bring to the table (even if it is only his education of what is)? That would allow both to prosper and continue their lives and making it better for both to advance their spot on this earth, which if everyone did, would allow everyone on this earth to prosper even that much further in their civilization. “Do unto others as you would have them do to you” would be able to be applied here again, this is only my belief though, because if I was in need of any kind of help I would hope that my neighbor is just as compassionate and caring as I, and given the proper education he/she might be. In the book by Zecharia Sitchin he puts forth great information as where the beginnings of a civilized society for us human beings began. He talks that the “gods” were not really “gods” but merely more advanced beings at the time. This would seem to make sense, seeing as how there are still native people that live off the land that see our aircraft and think we are from another planet, or “gods” if we tell them. So why wouldn’t the people back then be able to be persuaded by that that’s just what they were, “gods”. In the book “The Gods of Eden” by William Bramley he talks about this issue. He also has a theory as to why there has been war all throughout human history. He makes a good point stating, “As creatures rise in intelligence, their motivations tend to become more elaborate. It is easy to understand the mental stimuli in two alley cats squabbling over a scrap of food, but it would be a mistake to attribute as a simple a state of mind to a terrorist planting a bomb in an airport”. I believe the human race is far overdue to take the leap into the higher realm of being an “intelligent creature”. Many leaders from many areas of study will agree, for they know that in order to advance we must all be educated and know the reality of that which we are living. Bramley also states, “War can be its own valuable commodity.. An obvious example is an armaments manufacturer selling military hardware to warring nations, or a lending institution making loans to governments during wartime.
