„Noble Pack” for Needy friendly

The students of our school care about other children, especially those in need, who are not able to take care of themselves, because of many disabilities they have to live with. Last year, before Christmas, they decided to collect all the things that might bring a smile on the face of the sick children from „Zameczek” Disabled Children Center in Lubliniec. They organised a collection of food and toys, which were then personally transferred to the center. Disabled children were very happy to meet our students and spend with them some time playing and simply being together at this special time of the year. It, for sure, was not the last visit and we all want to meet once again soon.

The cooperation with Caritas – a charity whose mission is to work to build a better world, especially for the poor and oppressed

Shortly before Christmas we prepared the Christmas cards which have been attached to the packets being given to the poor and needy people in our town.

Collecting the plastic caps for needy people

We organized the collection of plastic bottles’ caps in our school – all the students, their parents, teachers and local people collect them to help children in need – very often disabled children. The definite quantity of caps can be exchanged for required medical or rehabilitation equipment.

Collecting the Lipton tea bags’ paper endings

We are collecting the Lipton cardboards for needy and disabled child in order to equip her with the wheelchair - she will get it if we collect the required number or weight of tea bags’ paper endings. All the students, parents, teachers and locals participate in this activity.

Helping each other at school

Students working on the project decided to help other students at school who have problems in Maths, English, Science or Polish. Twice a week they stay after lessons and help others with homework or understanding the material.

Collecting the books and board games for children being at hospital in Lubliniec (near to Kochanowice – our town)

We are taking part in the activity of collecting books – adventurous, poetry, fairy tales, comics and new board games for children staying at hospital in Lubliniec. The aim of this activity is to organize “ The Library Corner” for them during their medical treatment.

“It’s worth helping other people”: Me + You = We

Taking part in the national campaign and competition about asking for help and helping other people as to promote the cooperation and working as a team. Together we are stronger, can do goodwill and benefit from our collaboration. Students from each class take part in the competition by preparing the picture or writing a text that depict the sentence: “It’s worth helping others”. The aim of the activity is to pay attention to sharing happiness with others because our life consists of many little achievements and skills. Sharing them with others make people more rich. Maybe they will find out that they –like you – can do the same in order to be proud, happy people. If we are happy because something positive has happened, our happiness will be multiplied by the number of satisfied people. We should always bear in mind that Me + You = We

Supporting the children by providing them with more food by taking part in on-line activity “Puppet”

By sharing the website and clicking on the tummy of Puppet we collect money being used for providing children in need (especially those who lack of food) with additional food. We shared the link on our project blog and encouraged people to do goodwill.

Cooperation with Caritas – preparing the Easter palms

An Easter palm is a traditional Polish symbolic decoration associated with Palm Sunday. The ceremonial palm branch is the "most important attribute" of Palm Sunday in Poland. In the cooperation with Caritas students of our school have prepared the Easter palms in order to be sold to people in church on Palm Sunday. Money earned will be used for preparing the Easter packets for the needy and poor in our area.
