Re-grant of LOT 3: Implementation of small-scale adaptation project

Expected Results: to implement 5 small-scale adaptation projects in local communities of Motol, Sporovo and Chausy
Communities/ regions and Activities:
1) Motol community (Brest region): To create an information centre for the population of the region, aimed at
raising awareness about the impact of climate change on human health. Installing a web-camera with appearing information on the monitor will allow to inform people about weather change and other unfavourable meteorological factors.
Creation of landscape design combining it into an ecological path.
2) Sporovo community (Brest region): Reducing the vulnerability of water system on Sporovo territory, increasing
adaptive capacity to climate change, through the development of technology (hard measures), planning, managerial and educational (soft measures) measures.
The implementation of the demonstration project to improve drinking water supply for the most vulnerable segments of the population (the installation of water filters in the school)
3) Chausy community (Mogilev region): Intersectoral group will be created in Chausy region on CCA measures. The
members of this group will take part in the road-map development. Creation of new green zones.
