March: Celebrate the Celts!

March! At Christopher Heights we’re excited about lengthening days, College Basketball, and all things Irish! Join us in gleaning spiritual insights from Anam Cara, a book of Celtic wisdom, or in exploring the works of Dylan Thomas, Seamus Heaney, and other Irish writers in our monthly literary group. On warmer days join Activities staff for an impromptu after-lunch walk around Village Hill. We’ll be headed for the Community Gardens –filled with blooms -- in no time!

Content will include how and why various animals are made tame, as well as the historical significance of this phenomenon. As many residents have had experience with one or more of the animals discussed, there’ll be an opportunity at the end of the lecture to share one’s experiences.
